Disney to move away from fairy tales??

Any truth to this? Its from Yahoo news, apparently Disney is moving away from fairy tales and princess movies because they thinks its excluding boys? I thought there was always a fair mix between princess/fairy tale and more boy-ish movies? :shrug: I can see what they're trying to do, but I love my fairy tales and if theres truth to this it would be a huge disappointment.

I don't think they need to move away from fairy tales exactly, just be more careful in choosing which projects they work on. Maybe alternate: a more girly princess movie one year, the next year, a more boy-centric adventure. I don't know of many boys that aren't fond of Cars, Toy Story, Monsters Inc. and the other Pixar movies though.

Dont know about this:shrug: since Tangled did so great just on the first day with $11.5 !!!!! And my uncle and his wonderful dauter saw it and loved it so that means that not only little girls will like it but grown men and women will enjoy it as well!!:sohappy: And trust me his dauter all redy has all the dolls, books and any thing else with the name Tangled on it !!!!!! I cant imagine how much there making on merchandise sales right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
