Anybody heard anything about the status of Splitsville and their plans? Couldn't find anything here (although it certainly could have found its way into another thread).

Definitely bummed about Cirque du Soliel, although it is not totally unexpected. We have (had) tickets for July 23 and had emailed them about it. Based on the email they sent out today, we will be sitting on those tickets hoping for a refund for a while... that's not a cheap ticket refund to be waiting on.

No word yet on Splitsville. They obviously have some challenges with operating and possibly staffing.

Thanks. Definitely would be challenging, but I think they could make it work with pretty strict mask enforcement maybe? Definitely would have to close every other lane since they share ball return/pickup and balls and shoes would need a big upgrade in disinfecting. And some plexiglass walls in a few spots...okay, maybe it's getting a bit too challenging...

I know that over here just before lockdown came in some bowling alleys were operating every other lane only and you had to go and ask staff for a ball which would be cleaned for you, rather than being able to select the weight you wanted yourself.
Given you usually only share a lane with people you know it should be easy enough to distance from "strangers" and the ball is the only thing requiring disinfecting, then wash your hands before you leave or before eating. Shouldn't be too hard to re-open bowling venues.

There was a relatively quiet amendment to the order on July 1st that allows vendors licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for consumption on premises and also licensed to sell food to operate as a restaurant. Indoor seating also needs to be capped at 50% capacity.
Which may be why Oga's has reappeared on the reopening list for the park and is accepting reservations. Although with actual social distancing, given its small size, that should mean, what, about 12 people allowed inside at a time?

(I jest. Slightly.)
