Disney Resort THEMED S’mores Bags

Over the past few months, Disney resorts have been replacing the traditional generic Zip-Lock bag with a bag filled with marshmallows themed to the resort. Here is the new bag for Animal Kingdom Lodge (only at Jambo House so far, but should be at Kidani Village soon).

We love making s’mores around the fire pit at POFQ, I think the small resort details like this are easy to overlook but provide a lot of enjoyment to a vacation.

Have you any photos from other resorts with their themes? Would be neat to see. 3 resorts we've been to over the last month or so still had the regular zip locks. They had the regular bags at AKL when we were there in May.

We actually have about 500 of these same bags left over from a school fair/party. Went with the Paw Patrol theme. Maybe I can sell them to Disney.

I understand we're talking about plastic bags here, but it's these little touches that have disappeared over the years. It's nice to see something returning for the positive.

Why change from the zip-lock bags. I would think the twist ties would be more likely to be dropped on the ground and litter the resort grounds.

Marshmallows are free and unlimited. S’mores kits are available with chocolate, stuffed marshmallows, etc.. They come in a brown bag with instructions and stuff on it.

I’ve only ever done marshmallows though, which are free.

smore tip.. slice the marshmallow lengthwise. that way you have a flat edge for your chocolate and graham cracker
so graham cracker, chocolate, flat part of marshmallow, then graham cracker.
much less mess especially with kids and easier to eat.
