Disney plans Enchanted sequel

Disney is making plans for a sequel to the popular movie "Enchanted." Enchanted was an interesting venture in filmmaking, with animation and live-action musical acts combining to produce a "real life fairy tale." The movie featured a cartoon girl named Gisele, who became "real" when she was dropped onto the streets of New York City.

Producers are hoping to entice the original film's stars to return for the sequel.

The first film made more than $340 million worldwide.

I'm interested to see how this turns out. I really liked Enchanted.

ooh maybe a reunion and possibly a new villian comes into play or something that gisel forgets to mention about herself. like she turns into a beast. like beauty and the beast or she turns other people to stone something uniuque.

Amy Adams is excited for the film! I'm hoping that since she's supportive of it that we get a great sequel. Given the support for the project, I think we'll like what we see!

Has there been any movement on this? Haven't heard a peep since the initial announcement, despite them hoping to get it out in 2011 (which seems unlikely now).
