News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

We'll know tomorrow, but does anyone currently know how this impacts TMs and CMs working outside? Will they be expected to have their masks on?

CMs will continue to wear masks outdoors and indoors.

Don‘t they need time to change the signs, train he CMs on new procedures and publish the new rules so guests actually know what to expect?

That was my worry. Others can (and certainly will) disagree, but requiring employees to remain masked outdoors means it's too early for a lift in the mask policy.

I'd say "entering attractions" maybe means the queue? I consider the line to be part of the attraction, so once we head towards one, I will put my mask on

Makes sense. Aside from sitting at a table eating, queues are the most stationary of the entire park.

I have reservations at Epcot Sunday and will probably venture over to Universal tomorrow. Gonna be an interesting weekend.

Queues are not stationary. the point of a queue is to keep the line moving

It's more stationary than a brisk walk through the park. It's not unusual to go several minutes without moving which is why masks are going to be required.

Well, this is exciting; I didn't think Disney could move that fast. We did DHS today with our masks everywhere, but not wearing a mask from the car to the entrance at AK, MK and Epcot will be better. As well as making the big loops from place to place.

They need to clarify this and use the word queue. No one is going to think they’ve ”entered” spaceship earth when they’re in the outdoor queue.

How so? I havent been following much lately. I havent been to the parks in a while. Want to get there before I'm blocked out for summer.
