I have an 8:05 Disney Junior Play 'n Dine Breakfast for March 22nd which is an hour before rope drop. Does anyone know if you can join a ROTR before rope drop?

First, don't be surprised if your PPO (pre park opening) turns into a RD (rope drop) ADR (advanced dining reservation) due to HS (Hollywood Studios) potentially extending hours.
Second the ability to book a BG (boarding group) starts at official park opening time.

You called that one fairly accurately, the time was switched last week. I was however able to snag a MFSR fastpass this morning for 9:35 am on March 25th! I don't know if it was dumb luck or good timing. I guess it pays to always check for new FPs once the time has changed.
