Genie+ is designed so that you cannot pick a Lightning Lane at the time of your choosing (unlike FP+). When you make your first selection at 7 am, you are at the mercy of whatever return time pops up because you are competing with everyone else. In the case of popular attractions, like Peter Pan, your return time may not be until noon. Then when you select the time offered, the time often changes to a later window by the time the transaction processes.

Modifying a LL is possible but it will take consistent tries on your phone.

While you can choose your time for ILLs, the same scenario of the return time moving forward before the transaction processes can also happen.

My point is you’ll need to be flexible with the order in which you tour as your planned schedule (which would have worked well with FP+) may end up changing with Genie+.

Especially if your vacation is during a high crowd week.

There was a time...It was so awesome! when you stayed on club level on a Disney property resort..where you normally would receive 3 FastPasses a day. And with that old system, you could buy 3 extra fast passes for a cost with a wonderful and so very friendly concierge and have 6 FastPasses a day!

Got it, thank you! I recognize we are at the mercy of Genie+ for our times, but is this generally a good plan for the parks? We will be flexible on the day of, just wanted to have a baseline of things to do/a plan to give our days some structure.

I’m probably repeating what others have said, but I’ll copy my reply here from the duplicate thread.

A few things to get you started.

You can book your second G+ 2 hours after the park opens or when you tap into your first.

You can’t choose G+ return times.
- which means your chances of getting Peter Pan do early in the day are pretty slim. The return time pushes out to mid afternoon very quickly.

- same goes for Slinky, it could easily be a mid afternoon return time.

For each park I would select your top 3 must-do rides for booking with G+ Since you plan to be in the parks until close, you should be able to get them for some time.

- For AK I strongly suggest buying the ILL for FoP and making the Dafari your first G+ selection. Rope drop Navii.

Early entry time for DHS seems very early, but you can check that easily enough.

For MK you’re cross crossing a lot. I wouldn’t try to get from TL to Adventure Land for the regular rope drop. You’ll be right at the back of the line for AL and you’ll be fighting your way across the Hub where all the regular guests are waiting.

Your plans are way too specific in terms of times but I understand it is more of an outline.
I wouldn't purchase Genie+ for Animal Kingdom since you are only going to be there for half the day. Animal Kingdom doesn't need Genie+ even for a full day. Rope drop FoP, then to Na'vi followed by Safari. Also I would question riding the Rapids at 11 am since you are leaving for the airport at 1 pm. I wouldn't want to sit in an airport or on an airplane still drying off unless you plan on changing clothes.
For Magic Kingdom, get the virtual queue for Tron at 7 am. Use Genie+ for Peter Pan and rope drop Mine Train. Do standby for Space Mountain after Mine Train. I would use second Genie+ for Jungle Cruise.
You didn't mention what hotel you are staying at.

Would you recommend the 7am VQ for Tron if you're aiming to ride after dark; or waiting until the 1pm?
