Disney Dining PLan Question

No - a snack is considered an ice cream bar, a bag of chips, etc. Anything worth "real money" is not considered a snack by Disney. One of the reasons we never get the dining plan. It makes no sense for our tastes.

I wouldn't judge the dining plan by snacks. Just get a soda or water for your snack and be done with it. When you consider the sit down meal and counter service meal you would be getting on the plan it more than makes up for the snack choice, besides you'll need a drink to go along with the funnel cake.
