One would think Disney has learned from its past. If they were planning on shuttering it you think they would have just kept quiet rather than promise it's reopening. Not to mention the boost in attendance they could swing if they announced it was closing for good. So my guess is that yes it will reopen. 'Course that's my personal hope as well.

I highly doubt they're going anywhere. A friend of mine in Imagineering said that maybe 75% of the MiceChat article was correct, but he said the submarine closure was a false rumor. Every proposal for the Tomorrowland renovation that he has seen includes the submarines as an ongoing attraction.

I think there just refurbishing the actual memo ride. I am not a fan and preferred submarine instead as memo is lame but it is always a long line and the kids love it.
