Splash Mountain comes to mind. What I like about this is that it is still the “Rock N Rollercoaster”, keeping the iconic name while expanding on the concept. Wish that route was taken more often
I am sorry, what is your argument? That there are health and warnings to advise families so that makes it family friendly?Coaster and some other rides come with all the safety and health warnings to advise families prior to riding which is important and friendly reminder.
I doubt there is going to be a launch for a muppet rideI am sorry, what is your argument? That there are health and warnings to advise families so that makes it family friendly?
A coaster that does 0-60 in 2.8 seconds with 3 inversions is not something every family with pre-teen children can ride.
I wonder how many kids are going to want to ride this seeing the muppets promote it, only to be scared the whole time.
I also wonder how many people are like me, and think this will give this attraction a childish, immature, and obnoxious vibe.
I doubt they will change the coaster at all. It would cost too much money to change it. They already have a family coaster and are getting a second one with Monsters Inc.I doubt there is going to be a launch for a muppet ride
What? Are you suggesting Rockin Roller Coaster, being themed to muppets, is going to lose the launch?I doubt there is going to be a launch for a muppet ride
Yeah no shot. Ride will stay the same. What? Are you suggesting Rockin Roller Coaster, being themed to muppets, is going to lose the launch?
I think perhaps the difference is that what you are quoting is just me posting my thoughts/opinions on the forum at that time, not articles that I have published on the main site.Correct, but when it was announced, you initially posted on here that you believed Muppets was safe, then you heard differently later on before you wrote the article.
So you initially believed Muppets was safe, but got info later that changed things before you posted the article. Again, that’s fine. I’m well aware that plans change and don’t hold anyone to what they say about Disney changing because it happens all the time. That’s the only point I was making with my initial post. It wasn’t to criticize you, it was to say that Tom’s info wasn’t necessarily wrong when he got it, but plans changed. It happens. No need for members to dog on him.
I doubt you will get much more than a brief introduction from Kermit and a few small cameos of other Muppets. The main interactions will be with the Electric Mayhem.I am not saying I hate the muppets, but I do hate the muppets in this context.
Ms. Piggy, and hearing "wocka wocka wocka!", is going to be very annoying before getting on a coaster.
How are we even debating this? The internet is a frightening place.Yeah no shot. Ride will stay the same.
You may have something there as we have seen Disney make the most illogical changes that make no sense whatsoever.I doubt there is going to be a launch for a muppet ride
And the name Splash Mountain has nothing to do with Brer Rabbit. It's only called that because Michael Eisner had a hare-brained idea to call it that to coincide with the promotion of the movie "Splash". It would have been Zip-A-Dee River Run.Splash Mountain comes to mind.
Splash didn’t close that long and was much more complicated than this project. You may have something there as we have seen Disney make the most illogical changes that make no sense whatsoever.
Seriously and thankfully, this will be a re skin as its the cheapest thing to do.
I would normally say, cheapest and fastest, but Disney does nothing fast.
This will probably be closed for two years for a simple reskin.
They love asterisks. I would have been fine with Splash Mountain: Tiana’s Bayou AdventureAnd the name Splash Mountain has nothing to do with Brer Rabbit. Hopefully some noticeable stuff can be noticed when reopened if closed for two years. When Great Movie Ride at MGM was closed for 6 months the only item we noticed was new carpeting in the pre show area. You may have something there as we have seen Disney make the most illogical changes that make no sense whatsoever.

And the little ones with their parents going to launch 0-60 in 2.9 sec and inverted loops? Better alert Custodial to clean up not if but many vomit spills.Yeah no shot. Ride will stay the same.
