EDIT: why does Tokyo get to make Arendelle as part of their expansion ? Magic Kingdom has LOADS of extra space up behind Small World/Tangled bathrooms!

Because The Walt Disney Company that owns Walt Disney World, unlike the Oriental Land Company that owns Tokyo Disney, has no care for theme, correct placement, or a big attraction like the popularity and major success of Frozen deserved as long as it meant they could go the cheap and easy route.

These were all taken through a crack in the door, they only showed the lobby. There is no reason to believe the ride system was removed.

Also they are not building Arendelle, they are building a a new port themed to Scandinavia which will include a Frozen Arendelle themed area.

The entire upper part of the art looks like the Frozen area with Scandinavia being on the other side of the bridge complete with its own Stave Church.

Correct exactly, personally I keep thinking "you can make this in WDW, there's room in MK for it, just look north of Small World & Tangled Bathrooms!"
