Disney After Hours?

I'm a DVC member and heard about this on a DVC member site. Basically, it sounds to me like you can pay for Extra Magic Hours on days when there isn't Extra Magic at the MK. It's $149 per person! It also says that certain attractions will be closed to day guests and so will certain meet and greets. Has anyone heard about this? To me this sounds like a really horrible idea and INSANELY expensive. OH, BUT, you DO get a free Mickey Bar with your purchase. Sigh....... Can anyone explain this?
