It seems that DINOSAUR will return to its more robust ride program in the spring when Dino-Rama attractions open. Certainly the old ride was more marketable as a thrill ride for the park when it firsted opened, but there is no word on if they will give it back it's previously cool name Countdown to Extinction or keep the lame DINOSAUR name.

How long did it take them to change it from Countdown to Extinction to DINOSAUR?

I dont really think there was much of any downtime between CTX and Dinosaur. If anything, it'll probly only be a week or two.

Good thing that they are changing before I visit in December 2002. I knew the change was a promotion for the movie DINOSAUR but since the movie did poorly ($137 million barely covering cost of $200 million movie), they would change it soon. I'm glad they are doing this.
