Hi everyone,

I did a search on this, and just couldn't find anything. This will be our first year taking our digital camera with us. I usually take a regular film camera. My question is this.............can the digital and the memory card be put thru the security x-rays? What about with pictures on the card or without? Thanks for any replies!

Yup they are all safe to go through the airport security Xrays (and Mission Space too). Have a great trip! :)

X-rays do NOT effect your digital card. There is no "negative" or photo imprint that can be ruined by an x-ray. I have flown all over the world with my digital cameras and half a dozen digital cards and there have been no problems, even in europe where super-powered x-ray machines are used at check in.
