DHS Plan -- Looking for advice/input

Trying to assemble a feasible plan of attack for DHS next week. The need to do rides are MF:SR and RotR. I do not need to do SDD, but Mania would be fun to hit. Trying to do this all without using the single rider line as I am going with my fiancé. The plan now is to rope drop in order to get a BG for Rise. From here I am torn on what to do. Do I head first for Smuggler's Run -- which I'm sure a majority of people will do, or should I head to Sunset to ride ToT and RRC? Just trying to figure out the best move to bypass the biggest waits that I can.

If you're near the front of the line, I'd do Smuggler's Run first. By the time you're done, hopefully the "back way" to Toy Story land will have just opened, and you can easily head to TSMM, followed by the attractions on Sunset Boulevard.

If a few hundred people are ahead of you headed to Star Wars Land, skip Smuggler's Run and do it last -- during peak dinnertime or just before park closing, if possible.

I say this without a lick of actual experience -- but it was the recommended plan of attack on a well-reputed blog I read this week, for those headed to HS without Fastpasses.
