That’s not how “harm” works from a legal sense at all. They believe it is true and that’s all that counts

But it does from a PR/Marketing standpoint. If they believe that is how harm, or the perception of it works, then there is no reason they would choose to make the announcement of investment in Florida now. That’s not how “harm” works from a legal sense at all.
Hatbox Ghost date?Expectations have to be low. I think the likeliest items to get a mention are as follows:
- Opening date of Journey of Water
- Opening date of Figment meet and greet
- Update on Tiana's
- Update on CommunicoreHall
- Update on Disney Treasure / Lighthouse Point
- Update on EPCOT fireworks show, maybe a name
- Details on Genie+ changes

Updated Figment RideI am hoping the Epcot related panel happening on Saturday has some substance.
I am not at all expecting anything major being announced, but something other than Corporate ‘fluff’ and a review of what is already commonly known would be lovely.
A little unexpected surprise…
A dose of nostalgia is okay, too.
They know what us original EPCOT Center fans like….or do they..?
One does wonder sometimes.
Hint: A place that once again inspires and empowers.
But one thing is for certain -
We would like to hear more than just an update on the latest merchandise line….thanks.

At the conclusion of the day’s final presentation, EPCOT: Always in a State of Becoming, we are excited to invite all Destination D23 badge holders to head over to EPCOT for an evening celebrating the magic of possibility. Starting after 5 p.m., you’ll have plenty of time to make your way to EPCOT, have dinner, and then join us for our special surprises.
Also The Land interior. It's getting pretty embarrassingly dated. But otherwise agree, as much as I would like to see WoL be something again and jump start World Showcase attractions once more. The things in plain sight should be priority. To me, if we could update SEE and Figment, Epcot would be in great shape for a while.
When you look at the D23 Expo announcements, those rules are out the window. All things that would usually get revealed in a social media post![]()

I expect the initial reveal of the Figment meet and greet. It's simple and would make Epcot fans very happy.![]()
An Evening at EPCOT With D23 - D23
An Evening at EPCOT with D23 – Event Information (Please note, this event is exclusive to Badge Holders of Destination D23 presented by Lug) Greetings, fans of EPCOT… EPCOTTERS… EPCOTIANS… Citizens of EPCOT… whatever you call yourself! We are beyond excited to continue the fan-filled fun of...d23.com
Interesting…could be many things…could be little to nothing. I doubt the surprise is the new show…maybe a preview like the opening number? The fact it takes place at night is interesting.
Maybe we get Tiana’s Palace/Place confirmation at WDW too.
I know you were joking but in all seriousness, I think there’s an expansion pad by pirates. But honestly I feel like it could fit on the pathway to pirates from Adventureland to Tiana’s. Where the pirate adventure kiosk and food cart is now. But I’m not sure how far the footprint goes back with the backstage/parade start point. They don't have enough room at WDW for a Tiana's Palace restaurant like they do at Disneyland.
Walt didn't buy enough land in 1965 to do expansions like that.
It's the fatal flaw of his Florida Project. He should have bought more land.
Ahh. See, I think the Land (ride) is pretty much perfect. It’s my favorite ride in Epcot. Also The Land interior. It's getting pretty embarrassingly dated. But otherwise agree, as much as I would like to see WoL be something again and jump start World Showcase attractions once more. The things in plain sight should be priority.

The current prevailing rumor is that the Pecos Bills corner is being considered for a New Orleans makeover at some point in the future. Including turning Pecos Bills into Tiana's Palace. Whether it actually happens, and when, I don't know. Seems like Bayou Adventure will open first either way.I know you were joking but in all seriousness, I think there’s an expansion pad by pirates.
