I don’t have any specific experiences, but wanted to say that I’m so sorry this happened! What a bummer for you all. Rider switch should be usable at Disney. They shouldn’t give you any kind of hard time. Just say that she’s unable to ride and tell them who will be staying with her. I suppose it’s possible they might be skeptical with the recent changes to the rider switch rules, but you’re well within the purpose of this and should absolutely use it.
I hope you all have a really great trip even though it’ll be a little different than you originally planned.
