Decorations on doors

Anyone know if you can put decorations on the outside of your room door? We are going to be there on my youngest birthday. We aren't specifically celebrating his BD at disney it just happened that way. So I have a Mickey poster that I would like to put up on his birthday on the door.

I personally don't have an answer but if you call the hotel you will be staying at, they should have an answer for you.

As long as you don't make holes in the door with drawing pins, or use adhesive tape which will leave marks on removal, I can't see an issue.

However, I would be wary of other guests finding a new home for it - perhaps inside your room is safer

This - we decorate our room when we go down in December and have never had an issue. Of course, on the outside of the door, we hang a magnet, but we have seen other doors decorated with posters and other door coverings and they stay quite well (i.e. not pilfered).

I have also never done it, my SD turns 9 our 3rd day down this year...I will be decorating the insdide of our window...I found Frozen bday decorations at our dollar store and plan on adding some window clings...We leave in 15 days so I will post pics soon;)

Are you going to put holes in the door? How will you hold it up.... Don't damage the door...

I don't know where you're staying, but if you're at a value or a mod, you should be OK as long as you don't use anything that would damage the property. The deluxe resorts don't generally like guests having decorations that are visible from outside their rooms.

My 18th birthday at Pop Century we decorated the outside of the door, as well as put a banner in the inside of the window. I've seen people have decorations on their door for holidays as well. As long as you use command or something of the sort to hold it up, you should be fine. :)
