I'm in the mid Atlantic and I just can't imagine paying money to go anywhere hotter right now unless it involved a beach and an unending supply of cold drinks. Disney World must be rough.

For families in the South they can be acclimated to heat and humidity. For families up North visiting FL in this time it can be very uncomfortable.

Sure we're "acclimated" to it but this summer seems to be especially brutal. I'm so glad I'm cruising to Alaska next week and not the Carribean; I need a break from the heat. Lol!

I met a retired military Army Ranger. He told me the miserable place he ever was stationed in was in Alaska .

It's odd they have Chicago in "caution" area. It's going to be low 80s for next few days and gorgeous! It's wonderful out right now.

I think we've been having a normal summer here. It gets hot/humid/high 90s for a few days, then goes back down to mid-upper 80s.
Good summer.

the heat index is bad, but to me, the Sahara Dust of the last couple of days is far worse! I can't even see the blue in the sky these days!!
