For families in the South they can be acclimated to heat and humidity. For families up North visiting FL in this time it can be very uncomfortable.
Sure we're "acclimated" to it but this summer seems to be especially brutal. I'm so glad I'm cruising to Alaska next week and not the Carribean; I need a break from the heat. Lol!

I met a retired military Army Ranger. He told me the miserable place he ever was stationed in was in Alaska .

the heat index is bad, but to me, the Sahara Dust of the last couple of days is far worse! I can't even see the blue in the sky these days!!
