A popular guidebook alluded to otherwise. Anyway, I had been hopeful.

There are sailings at sea right now on other cruise lines that had Cuba on the itinerary and they have cancelled that port of call. I'm sure there are passengers who are not happy about it.

True. I've heard that NCL has been very generous. However, if visiting Cuba (or any destination, really) is on your bucket list and then that destination is cancelled while you're en route, the money probably doesn't really make up for the disappointment. And I think that's true whether the destination is cancelled due to government policy, as in this case, or because a hurricane is moving through the area. The result and the disappointment would be the same, I imagine.
