CSR(with a rehab going on) vs. CBR

I have labored about which to pick(based on pool etc) but now I see that there is a rehab that will start at CSR in July. Currently have a standard room there booked for 5 nights at end of August for a total of $755 I was able to scramble and also get a CBR water view room booked but that is a total of $914 so a $159 difference.
Given there is a renovation I have a few questions.
Will it be noisy around CSR? Will there be any renovated room available after just a month or so of work?
Since they are renovating does that mean the rooms will be left to get shabby till they get the renovation?
And an aside, is the CBR pool much better for the little ones to make it worth it?

To me a closed building means less people at the resort. So I'd stick with CSR. It's a beautiful resort and we loved the pool area. My kids are older, so I can't speak to how it would be for "little ones"

Don't know much about CSR but CBR pool is fab for little ones. The wet playground is right by the pool for them to come and go easily, the hot tub is great and the theming is brilliant. The resort is very spread out. Next time I would request a building close to the amenities (including the pool) or might investigate the cost of a preferred room.

I've not stayed at either but the CBR motif does far less for me aesthetically than CSR. I know there are far more dining options on site at CSR, if you want that option, and the sit-down restaurant at CBR is supposed to be the pits.
However, CBR just had their refurb last year (except apparently their pirate-themed rooms?). So you should in theory have a better chance of a room you won't find icked up.

We stayed at CSR six months ago and our room was definitely not in need of work. I love that resort, and was so bummed to not be able to stay there this year. We're at CBR in November.
