Cruise Line "Bounceback" offers

I know that you can get discounts if you book your next Disney cruise while still onboard your current cruise. My mom and I are planning our very first cruise for 2009. We're doing a Land and Sea cruise next year and were curious about the way the "bounceback" offers work for the cruise line. If we enjoyed cruising (never cruised at all before) we might consider doing another one. Would the onboard "bounceback" offer only be for land and sea cruises or would we be able to book one of the 7 night cruises?

Unless they've changed the program, you can book onboard for any cruise offered - 3, 4, or 7nt (or any other cruise they announce for 2010 in the near future). You can book one stateroom per person in your current party, so if you have 3 people, you can reserve 3 staterooms. You have to pay the deposit at time of booking, but it's usually a 10% discount and a really good shipboard credit. Plus, if you have to change your dates, the offer usually transfers with the new dates.
