It says the WL to Fort Wilderness is 2.8? I wonder if they mean that is a loop distance. Via satellite, it looks like a 1.5, not almost 3.

Hmmm, I might be missing something.

Wow, I have got to find a day to do that run, it actually looks bigger than 2.1 but whatever, I will just have to run it two or three times:)

Id try and get about 10 miles in.... depending on the day of the week. That loop 5 times wouldnt be the best, but wouldnt be close to the worst.

I know that there are some reasons why they couldnt do this (waterways, security, etc) but I would really like it if they made a path that circled the entire Seven Seas Lagoon. I could get on board with running around that 100 times.

After looking at the aerial, you could (if staying at the poly or GF, run south of the Poly and into the TTC parking lot and do a few laps around that. Boring? Yes... if you had to get mileage in, done. I dont think it would be an issue if you got up early before traffic started.

Won't be staying at either, plane fare eats up the idea of a higher priced resort, it will be an all star in May. My wife loves and I mean loves the GF but it will be an all star.

We need to stay at an AS resort (or POP/AoA resorts), but we do Mod resorts instead. Ive had a few too many bad experiences with the clientele at the value resorts. We love the PO:R or FQ. That has some nice paths to run around the resort. Did that 2 years ago.

I have stayed at the Contemporary, at the Poly before and loved the Poly the best. That was when it was on my parents dime. :D

My inlaws always stayed at the contemporary for years but as time when on and prices changed etc they started costing down. I don't spend much time on the resort to notice most other folks, usually gone by 8 am and not back until after 8 pm, a few beer, an hour in the pool and I'm done for the day.
