At my stay in the contemporary we were on the side with a water view. The water parade was nice to see at night. For the fireworks we had to go out to a little area outside on almost an observation deck. We could not see them from the room, but again we were on the opposite side of the magic kingdom. It was definitely nice just having to walk down the hall after the show instead of trying to beat the crowds on main st.
