I’ve said that I like how it looks.I can’t be the only one who thinks Connections looks fabulous…? The sunken floors, the planters, the murals and friezes are all very EPCOT-chic.

Think of it as A Festival of EPCoT. It does have very cool terrazzo floors. Oh, and neon above the checkout lanes. And, don't forget LED Pixel lighting driven by a Raspberry Pi. You gotta love those details! There's a few of us. But we hide now.

For your viewing pleasure. The wonder that was this location during EPCOT Center, if I'm correct.
Noteworthy is how much that 1982 sign looks like a 2022 iPhone screen, complete with icons. The 21st century began right here.
Also, if some malificent power had cast a sleeping spell upon EPCOT Center, and it would awaken now just as it was, without any afterwards tinkering, it would be the most gorgeous place on earth. A marvel. Look at those colours, look at those icons. All that light, all that vegetation, the elegance of those lines and forms.
Many people seem to be comparing this to airports, but before the demolition there were still parts of Epcot that look like 1980s mall/airport. The Land still has a lot of 80s mall vibes I think.
This area at least looks current.
Having the mural return and balloons move again would be a massive improvement to the central area.View attachment 634768
Current Land, yes a bit mall-ish. Classic The Land not so much, if distinctly 80s.

They're still using plates and silverware at Satuli. Have been for years.Wow, so the are using silverware and dishes....I got a strong feeling it won't last too long before they take the Dixie plate routes again..
What about sunshine seasons?? Or are they paper plates? There's still using plates and silverware at Satuli. Have been for years.
Frankly, looking at some of the current guests EPCOT attracts, they aren't getting anywhere near my silverware either.Wow, so the are using silverware and dishes....I got a strong feeling it won't last too long before they take the Dixie plate routes again..
The last time we ate there, it was paper plates and disposable utensils. What about sunshine seasons?? Or are they paper plates?
