Trip Report *Completed* The Rain Filled Graduation and Cancer Free Celebration Trip

Hey everyone!
First off let me start by saying this is my first trip report and I am very excited to share my trip with all of you! Secondly, I am going to freely admit that this TR will take me forever to finish since I start residency on Monday haha

For those of you interested in seeing my PTR its here: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/graduation-and-cancer-free-celebration.883163/#post-6056949

Just a quick introduction to the trip:
When?
June 6th - June 16th 2014
Where? Port Orleans French Quarter, our recent favorite hotel
Why? My mom is one year cancer free and I just graduated from medical school!
Who? In order of the picture below: My dad, myself (Megan), my mom, my sister Jill's boyfriend Nick, my sister Jill, and my sister Betta

232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv663%3A%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B5473%3A%3C65246ot1lsi

Ok so Day 1 :) My Dad and I were very excited to be in the airport!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv4375%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B5474373%3B246ot1lsi

Our flight was pretty terrible actually. We had a lot of turbulence, so much so that I fell over in the bathroom on the plane haha. However, if you ask my Dad it was smooth sailing (mainly because he slept through the whole thing). Seriously though, I don't think I ever landed so hard haha but it was all good because we made it to Florida!!!
I put my Magic Band on as soon as we landed
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv47%3A9%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B547%3C3638246ot1lsi

Ok so I mentioned this in my PTR but we have always rented a car in Disney, but this year we decided not to so going on DME was a first for us!
Here is our DME family selfie (my sisters didn't come until the next day)…it was super popular on Facebook haha
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3A8%3C%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B547%3C85%3B3246ot1lsi

Anyway so I thought DME was pretty great, we barely waited at all and got to the hotel by 11:30 am. I didn't really mind the video…but I also never saw the old one. I will also admit that I was only half paying attention because I was answering some phone calls for residency stuff. I missed the Disney sign because I was on the phone :( I did get a picture of our hotel though!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv8983%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B546%3C8%3C%3A9246ot1lsi

Oh, and on a side note at a red light we saw this sign and all three of us thought it said gourmet walk in medical care instead of gourmet pizza haha
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv7896%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B546%3C%3A839246ot1lsi

Ok so anyway, I am already rambling. When we got off the bus the most unexpected thing happened! The one cast member was standing there with our name on an iPad! I NEVER EXPECTED IT! I almost walked right past her! So she said because we did online check in our room was already ready AND she surprised us by giving us "I'm Celebrating" pins! My sister Betta called ahead and told them I was celebrating graduation and my mom was celebrating cancer free and they already had the pins made for us (although to be fair they got confused and made my moms a graduation pin too haha but so much Disney magic already)!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3568%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B547%3A589%3B246ot1lsi

We saw this beautiful sight when we walked into our room
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv78%3B%3Enu%3D3365%3E2%3A%3A%3E4%3A%3A%3EWSNRCG%3D3%3A63834643337nu0mrj

Basically we spent like 2 seconds in our room, just long enough to get changed (into the clothes I insisted we pack in our carry ons even though my parents thought I was insane) and off to the Magic Kingdom we went! First I had to pose with my new pin!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv7%3C64%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B547%3A58%3A4246ot1lsi

Here are my parents at the Magic Kingdom…let me say thank goodness I was wearing sunglasses because I was tearing up I was so excited. Let me also say it was hot…probably because I'm from Buffalo and we had an especially horrible winter but boy was I grateful for that change of clothes
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv7%3A8%3Enu%3D3365%3E2%3A%3A%3E4%3A%3A%3EWSNRCG%3D3%3A638967%3B2337nu0mrj

We got inside and took some obligatory pictures with the Memory Maker
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3425%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B5473%3A%3C6%3C246ot1lsi
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv9%3C43%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B54732%3A%3B3246ot1lsi

Then…we were starving. Since we usually had a car we rarely ate on Disney property except for breakfast so this trip was our first chance to try new restaurants. I was standing there suggesting things to eat (since I did a disturbing amount of research) and we ended up just going to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant because it was close and we were hungry. (We did initially look at Casey's Corner but I have a weird thing about only eating a certain brand of hot dogs from home and my mom doesn't even like them so we said no to that).

My mom and I got kids nuggets and mac and cheese and my dad got the adult nuggets. I thought it was all really good! (also, so much food comes with kids meals its insane!)
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3B5%3A%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B5473845%3C246ot1lsi
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv%3A873%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B546%3C8%3C%3A4246ot1lsi

On a side note my family really got into me taking pictures of food (although as you will see usually there was at least one bite out of it because we were always starving haha). My dad would always be like "we need to get a picture for the blog!" haha (blog was the term I used because trip report would have confused everyone)

Ok…next up is our actual day at MK and then dinner at the California Grill! Hopefully I can squeeze it in tomorrow before my graduation party :)

Very cool. I'm headed down with friends and I pushed for the POFQ after reading posts here and reviewing a bunch of sites. So, I'm glad it sounds like we wont be disappointed. And one of the selling points was the slide, so yes, I am a big kid. :)

Just saw the Go Bills tag - not sure how they will be this year. EJ Manuel and Sammy Watkins are good, but Stevie J was your best WR. Hope they will be exciting if nothing else..

Great report and pics!

Thanks! You will definitely love the hotel…and the slide!
Also…I'm pretty convinced that the Bills will be good this year…although I say that every year. This time I mean it though! Don't even get me started on Stevie…he was/is my favorite player. I even have his autographed jersey from training camp. I never cry at anything and I literally cried for a good two hours after I found out he got traded haha

I will be back in just 19 days. I CAN'T WAIT!!! We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge from July 13-21st. We will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We honeymooned at WDW and wanted to celebrate our 25th there with our kids. I am passing the time until the trip by reading trip reports. I hope to write my first ever trip report when we come back!

Oh my goodness congratulations that is so great! Its my dream to get married and honeymoon at Disney! I did the same thing before my trip, I read like every TR available haha I'm so excited for you to leave soon! PS you are leaving on my Birthday!

Thank you so much! Yea I've stayed at 3 or 4 other places and POFQ is by far my favorite (of course…I haven't stayed at the deluxe hotels…so maybe one of those would be better haha)

I think the bus transportation at POFQ is pretty good. There is only one bus stop and in the mornings its usually just French Quarter the buses are going to. In middle of the day you usually have to go to all 4 places at Riverside too which is a little tedious but still less stops than most hotels. The Epcot bus I would say goes to all 5 stops more often than any other; MK and HS rarely do and Animal Kingdom does also go to Blizzard Beach. We never had a problem with waiting too long for a bus…even in the mornings I don't think I ever waited over 15 minutes. My sister did have a problem once with the bus for Typhoon Lagoon never coming but I feel like mix ups like that happen every once in awhile. I have stayed in other hotels that have had way worse bus service so overall I'd say its pretty good (based on Disney bus standards). You can also take the boat to Downtown Disney which is really nice.

Ok so I basically will do anything at this point to not have to study for my weekend class so I figured I should get back to trip reporting haha
Day 3:
Today was everyone else's first full days so we were up early and headed to Epcot. So, I am a little bit of a Type A personality (ok…more like a lot bit) and I feel like I get stressed out about most things. So, where we were in relationship to the bus stop was probably the worst thing due to the fact that every time we were waiting for everyone to be ready I would see the buses go by and naturally see the one we needed leaving. I would then proceed to get unreasonably mad and anxious. Needless to say, I should have just turned a blind eye to the buses driving by but I couldn't and I did get yelled at a few times for being impatient hahaha
Anyway, here are my sister Betta and I fooling around while waiting for Jill and Nick to be ready
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv9%3C9%3Enu%3D3365%3E2%3A%3A%3E4%3A%3A%3EWSNRCG%3D3%3A649%3B3237337nu0mrj

So despite all my complaining about waiting for everyone we still made it to Epcot before it opened and so we got to see the cool confetti cans that went off! (Also, as a side note I pretty much harped the whole time on the bus about how Epcot had the longest security line ever…and of course it was empty when we got there haha) I thought it was a little funny that immediately after they went off the cast members were already out sweeping it up haha

Jill with the confetti
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv8%3A8%3B%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B558%3B%3A745246ot1lsi

Our plan was to head to Test Track first so that we could get there before everyone else…which we did I think we only waited ten minutes
Everyone was really excited …
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv8%3B8%3C%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B546%3C%3A845246ot1lsi

I had never been on Test Track without going through the Fast Pass line so I never designed a car before…I thought it was fun. Here is Betta's and my car. Its pretty (obnoxious) but it actually performed well haha
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv9423%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B5473%3A%3C43246ot1lsi

232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3A36%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B54743738246ot1lsi

I personally love the activities after Test Track…especially the picture thing…but then I send myself the pictures and never use them haha
My mom did take some…we look pretty ridiculous
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv%3B46%3B%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B566%3A2388246ot1lsi

After Test Track Jill and Nick had to go eat so my parents and Betta and I went to the Sum of all Thrills which I think is really cool. I like how they try to make Math and Science cool (in fact, they say Math and Science like 5 times in the video). I probably just like it because I am a nerd haha. I went on with my Dad
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv%3B935%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B566%3A2389246ot1lsi

After we decided to kill some time before our next Fast Pass and went to Spaceship Earth…we waited like 20 minutes for this ride haha. I don't think I ever waited for more than 10 but we had plenty of time so it didn't matter. It boggles my mind how the continuous loading lines have such a long line sometimes though, I guess its why I don't get traffic jams either. I really love this ride, but probably because Betta and I always try and make the most ridiculous faces. Someone on the ride took flash photography of everything…I was about to yell and say it wasn't allowed haha I mean seriously, its not that exciting of a ride that you need pictures of everything.

After this we went on Soarin'. I could take or leave this ride…its cool but I also have never been to the West Coast so I'm always like where the heck are these places. I did smell some sort of scent for the first time though…that was cool.
After Soarin' we went on The Land…
I personally love The Land but my mom despises it haha (in fact it was the topic of a little argument later in the week) I just think its cool. Plus, Nick is a chef so he also thought it was pretty neat
My parents and Betta on The Land
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv7348%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B54738444246ot1lsi

Me on The Land
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv7496%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B558%3C232%3B246ot1lsi

Next was The Seas with Nemo and Friends which was cute…we didn't do the aquarium after because we were all starving and decided to head to World Showcase to eat.
On our way to eat we passed Duffy who was adorable (although Nick had never met a character before…I thought he was going to die laughing especially when Duffy had to leave for a "cookie")
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3A%3B4%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B5473573%3C246ot1lsi

I don't really know what we were thinking walking around World Showcase with nowhere particular in mind to eat, especially since it was like 97 degrees out. We first said Mexico then no one wanted that…we kept walking and everyone got real cranky. Betta and I were trying to find Jalapeño Pretzels but I couldn't remember where I had read they were so we ended up stopping in America for food while Jill and Nick separated so they could get a drink. Just as we got our food Jill texted us and found the pretzels…about 2 feet from where we were eating at the Liberty Inn haha oh well..
Betta and my Dad has Caesar Salads which were delicious and my mom and I split Mac and Cheese and Nuggets which was also good
I figured you didn't need to see the Mac and Cheese and Nuggets again so here is the salad
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv6%3A5%3C%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B547436%3B4246ot1lsi

Here are some pictures from our trip around the World…I'm surprised we are smiling since everyone was so cranky haha
This picture is one we have to take every trip (a few trips ago when we may or may not have had too many margaritas and decided this looked great…the day before when Jill and Nick were in Epcot she send us a pic of just her asking where we were haha)
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv9%3A34%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B558%3C232%3C246ot1lsi

232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv6%3B98%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B54736985246ot1lsi

After lunch we went back to the Seas for Turtle Talk…which was hilarious. Some kid asked Crush "how do you swim like a fish?" He gave this confused look and was like….I don't even know what you are asking hahaha
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv4%3A63%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B5473%3B94%3C246ot1lsi

We were planning to walk through the aquarium after but we were hot and tired so we decided to go back to the hotel for a swim!

Next stop swimming and Epcot for dinner…and the beginning of the rain.

So glad you didn't feel like studying! I'd been waiting for another post on your report. In fact, I was avoiding writing a paper for a class I am taking and I kept procrastinating by checking on the trip reports I have been following to see if anyone had posted anything new! You sound just like me. I always hurrying everyone along and worrying that we won't get to the parks early enough to accomplish all that we want to do. I never knew that they shoot off confetti at Epcot. We never seem to make it to Epcot or Hollywood Studios before opening. Probably because people didn't want me to rush them. If only people would get with the program :) Living with the Land is great. One of our must do attractions every trip. Kind of odd since it is so simple, but we all enjoy it. Great tradition of taking a photo with your sisters in the same location every trip. Looking forward to reading more.

Haha I appreciate the fact that I am not the only one who uses this site to procrastinate. Yes, I am definitely the planner in the family and always trying to hurry everyone along. I think what most people have to realize is that in order to do everything you want to do you have to get up and get to the parks early/when they open and then take an afternoon break and then go back. So, I try and drill that in everyones heads haha. We all know Disney isn't like most other vacations where you sleep in and relax all day. I never saw the confetti before either…I think it must be new because I do remember being there for an opening in the not too distant past and it wasn't happening. I am glad you like The Land too haha I guess I'm not the only one out there. You guys are like 2 weeks out from your trip how exciting!!

:joyfull:I am soooo excited that our trip is getting close! I am also starting to freak out a little about the planning. We wanted to make this a family vacation as well as a celebration of our 25th anniversary, so we are bringing our 2 children along. They are 18 and 14 and are WDW vets. We're also allowing our kids to each bring one friend with them. This means we have 2 newbies joining us. This is awesome because I am super excited to introduce them to Disney, but I feel a HUGE amount of pressure/responsibility to make it a "perfect" and pixie dust filled trip! This is our first trip with magic bands and FP+. We were pros at legacy fastpass, so I am pretty nervous about FP+, especially rearranging FP+ times for rides if we are running late or want to change something. We already see a couple times that are not ideal but I am terrified to try to change them and lose the time I already have and not be able to get a new time. I know, I am a freak. My husband does not understand how worried I am about this. I knew people on this site would. Do you have any tips or advice about FP+? Looking forward to more posts from your trip!

That sounds like a really fun trip! I wouldn't worry about the newbies, since your kids are vets I'm sure they can lead them down the right path! I felt that way about Nick on my trip but in the end he was just happy to be there and just did what he wanted to and didn't do what he didn't want to (he doesn't like roller coasters so sat out on Space Mountain, but didn't mind at all). I actually really like the new Fast Pass system. I would definitely not worry about changing Fast Passes around, except for certain things like the Mine Ride and Toy Story. I did a lot of adjusting the day before or even the day of and still could get spots. I asked my sister about tips for the FP plus and she had some good ones so I will share: 1. We tended to do our Fast Passes mostly in the morning which worked out well if we wanted to add some later in the day or in another park. When you Park Hop you have to be in that park to add Fast Passes (actually any additional Fast Pass selections have to be made at the kiosks but don't worry they are all over). So if you want some for later at Hollywood Studios you have to be there to do it. If you wanted some at MK and you are already at MK you just go up to a kiosk there. The only park we had trouble getting more Fast Passes for when we did not spend the morning in that park was Epcot…basically because they have the least number. In MK we ended up using like 7 Fast Passes in one day without any problems (so thats how open most Fast Pass times are). I used the app/kiosks a little to change Fast Passes on the fly. For example, my Dad and I went on Tower of Terror in the morning one day and so we ended up changing that Fast Pass for something else at that time with no problems. 2. Another tip she had was if the weather if iffy and you are at Epcot try to get a Fast Pass for Test Track at the end of the day (like preferably last hour). If Test Track closes due to weather you will get a free Fast Pass for the next day that you can use any time any park. This happened to us so we used it for the Mine Ride. 3. The last thing we would say is to us the Fantasmic FP wasn't worth it…if you want good seats you have to get there early no matter what so its kind of a waste of a Fast Pass. If anything I would suggest the Dining Package if you didn't want to get there early. Lastly just a heads up if you haven't seen it yet you can use any Fast Pass 5 minutes early and 15 minutes late too (I learned that on this site and it was very useful). Don't worry if your app doesn't work (mine didn't) like I said there are plenty of kiosks…just make sure they change the whole group of Fast Passes if thats what you want…once they only changed me haha. Believe me I understand the anxiety of planning, thats the burden that comes on the planner haha I worried about everything too but it all worked out and we had a great vacation.

Ok so continuing Day 3:
We all went to the pool which as usual was a ton of fun! The life guards at this pool were super nice! One time Betta was going down the slide and waving to us so the life guard (pretty sure his name was Ryan but Nick kept calling him Jonathan so now I can't remember) waved back thinking she was waving to him haha. She was telling us this story and then he came over and mentioned it too it was super funny. He was really chatty about where he was from and asked where we were from. We saw him a few times after that too and he remembered us and where we were from (probably because we were the only all adult part who continuously went down the slide haha). He also made sure to comment on all the weird faces I made going down the slide (like…oh it must be cold today hahaha). It was funny.
Here is the "wave incident"

So after we went swimming we headed back to Epcot for dinner. As some of you may have noticed I titled this trip: "the rain filled" and so far it has been nothing but sunshine. Well….here begins the rain. On the way to Epcot it started pouring rain. I had my rain jacket and so did my Dad but no one else did so luckily Betta bought ponchos with her. Of note, I think she got them from the Dollar Tree if you are looking. Personally I went to 3 different Dollar Trees and plenty of other stores and could not find them but she doesn't live in Buffalo so maybe they don't sell them here haha.
Yay its pouring!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3647%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B558%3C2333246ot1lsi

Since we were likely going to be wet anyway we decided to just walk in the park. It actually was pretty sunny by the time we got into the park. We at this point (after what seemed like the usual 20 minute discussion/argument) decided to split up until dinner. Betta and I really wanted to go on Test Track again and everyone else wanted to get a drink. So Test Track wasn't officially open yet but it was sunny so we got in line anyway and within like 15 minutes we got to go in. Then, we waited, and waited, and the line wasn't moving. Since we had to get to dinner we ended up leaving the line and let me tell you, you don't realize how little people pay attention when you are trying to go the opposite way haha. Everyone was on their phones and it took me like 50 excuse mes to get out of line. Anyway, as soon as we left they announced it was closed again so good thing we left.
On our way to France we decided to stop and take a Memory Maker picture. Funny story, Jill and Nick did the same thing on their way to France and so did my parents haha. All three groups were separated but still got the same picture.

(In case you are curious what Betta's celebration pin was it was for her First Marathon which she did a few weeks before we left!)
When Betta and I arrived in France we made it just in time for this Memory Maker picture (those stinkers were gonna do one without us!).
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv934%3Enu%3D3365%3E2%3A%3A%3E4%3A%3A%3EWSNRCG%3D3%3A6382%3C858337nu0mrj

Ok so we checked in for Chefs de France and they took us early which was nice.

We had eaten in France the last trip and enjoyed it so I was excited for dinner again.
For an appetizer my mom and I had the French Onion Soup which was super good. Jill had the Lobster Bisque which was also good and Nick had the Escargot which he said was good but I refused to try. My Dad may have had a salad I don't remember. I'm not sure what happened to all my appetizer pictures.

We also had some sort of wine which was good but I honestly can not remember the name of it. For entrees my mom, Jill and I had the Gratin de Macaroni. I had mixed feelings about it. Personally I liked it a lot better last time I ate at Chefs de France but I still ate most of it so it wasn't horrible or anything. I just really like cheese so would have preferred more of the creamy cheese. Nick is a chef and when he tried it he said by French standards it wasn't good haha
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv8%3C6%3Enu%3D3365%3E2%3A%3A%3E4%3A%3A%3EWSNRCG%3D3%3A63829383337nu0mrj

Betta had the Vegetable Lasagna which she said was good. I tried it and didn't care for it but I also am not a big fan of red sauce.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv%3B435%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B547436%3B%3C246ot1lsi

And my Dad had the Broiled Salmon which he said was good
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv5454%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B5473%3A%3C45246ot1lsi

I guess if you asked me if I would go back the answer would probably be yes, but that I would like to try other places first. Jill had the chocolate mousse for dessert which she said was good. I had a picture of it but it was blurry.
After dinner I went to Les Halles Boulangerie & Pâtisserie for Crème brûlée. I pretty much said for like 3 months before this trip that I was not going to buy Crème brûlée in the restaurant because its cheaper to get it from the pastry shop so I did just that…and I was right haha.
After dinner we were all exhausted and so decided not to stay for Illuminations (it was also looking like it was going to rain any minute). We did do a quick stop on the Maelstrom which is always a great ride.
On the way out I took some pictures
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv6%3A4%3C%3Dot%3E2456%3D39%3B%3D59%3B%3DXROQDF%3E2%3B5473%3A%3C78246ot1lsi

When we got to the bus stop it was raining but they were still doing Illuminations because we could hear it.
We also had some newbie bus driver. They pulled over his bus before he got to our station and were explaining things to him. Then, the bus was barely full so he was questioning some guy on the radio how long he should wait and what they define as full. It was weird and funny at the same time.

Yum! All the food looks so amazing!!

I haven't dined in France in several years (making an effort to experience all of the WS's offerings) but all the food pics make me want to circle back through! :)
