Are we talking about the same hotel??Yes, we stayed there several times because it was close and cheap, but that was many years ago. For example, we spent the first Gulf War (January 1991) there, watching the little, tiny TV comfort suites had installed next to the ceiling in the top section of a wall cabinet as tanks rolled into Iraq. The biggest advantage was that, back then at least, the back sections were relatively isolated in the woods, so it was quieter than places by the noisy attractions on 192. It was barely adequate back then, with old rooms, musty smells (common in Florida), very noisy housekeeping that started at dawn, doors without full seals under the door threshold, and inadequate lighting. We used to go mini-golfing at Pirates Adventure next door quite a bit, and got friendly with the staff. But haven't been there for decades, so have no idea what it's like now. So can't recommend it one way or the other, but we won't be staying there again.
Maingate South is better than East.Has anyone stayed at the Comfort Suites Maingate East in Kissimmee? Would you recommend it?
