Does any of the dining locations have the Coke Freestyle machine? My wife is looking for Powerade Zero Extra Sour Cherry.

TIA

There was a Free Style at Caribbean Beach resort a few years ago. I don't know if it's still there.

several resorts do - Grand Floridian and Port Orleans French Quarter for sure. There’s definitely a mix across the property at resorts.

I can’t think of any in the parks, other than the DVC lounges. But maybe I’m forgetting one.

Do they allow room keys for payment?
Yes, but you have to purchase a paper cup or refillable mug at a resort quick serve location, or select resort merchandise locations.

Resort mugs have unlimited refills for your length of stay (only barrier being 60-120 seconds cooldown between refills). Paper cups will give you three refills but they have to be used within one meal period, but I can’t remember the specific span of time it is.

a big negative for me on the coke freestyle is you can’t get free soda water. You can with the traditional machines.

I may be one of 2 people who care though haha

The worst part about the Coke Freestyle machines is that you can't get regular Coke from them. If a place has a Freestyle machine I'll just drink water because the "Coke" in them is terrible.

Not sure what you mean, every machine i have ever seen offers regular coke, diet coke, and multiple flavors of each

What he means is that for us Coke “purists” the Coke in a Freestyle machine does not taste the same as the Coke from a non-Freestyle beverage dispenser. @UNCgolf I agree 💯.
Oh i get that it might not taste the same. I always run whatever soda i am chosing without putting the cup in first to try and clear the lines so to speak, but that different then saying its not offered at all.

Yeah, I wasn't clear -- I didn't mean they don't have a button that says Coca-Cola, just mean it doesn't taste even remotely like Coke from a can, bottle, or regular fountain. It's like a completely different drink for some reason.

Every once in a while I'll try it again (probably tried it from at least 30 different Freestyle machines in various places around the country at this point) and it's just never close to the same flavor.

It’s because it doesn’t use the same syrup, it’s a highly concentrated version (46-ounce Freestyle cartridge is “equivalent” to a 5-gallon box of traditional syrup supposedly). I prefer traditional fountains any day, but the variety is sometimes nice I suppose.

I knew it used cartridges, but didn't know the specifics. Makes sense why it tastes like a different product entirely.
