Does anyone have info what building numbers are Pier and Paradise Gardens are assigned with?
Paradise Gardens and Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta are buildings 520 and 521 respectively. The Pier itself I believe is 510.

If people are trying to get a hint at what the Coco building number will be, I'd use the backstage building numbers for reference.

Maintenance is 931
Parade is 932
ODV is 933

So my guess is that Coco will be in the 900s.

This is very helpful - thank you

With the recent rumblings about potentially moving away from future parades at DCA I’m curious what the fate of the two parade buildings will be

Does anyone know what they’re currently being used for? Talking about the one behind the pier as well as the one between the pier and Carsland.

Even when parades were still expected to be around, it always seemed like they’d only need one at most, but I’m not sure if they’re used as office space or some other backstage purpose as well

The building between the Pier and Carsland houses the Cars character vehicles and the maintenance equipment for World of Color.

Looking at some of the recent construction photos and assuming they continue to do parades/ use that building it seems like the only realistic parade route options are in purple and blue below. Either the straight shot in purple along coaster or the path in blue which goes all the way around the Maintenance building. Not sure if it was me or someone else but the parade route cutting in front of the maintenance building seems the most unlikely and limits the amount of room they could use for the Coco show building.

@Disney Analyst I believe had the same thought.

Looking at even just the path you drew gives a good idea how much space they really have to work with for a showbuilding. And depending on if it goes multiple stories, this could end up being bigger than recently thought. I know Brickey for example is still talking about a 45k-55k sqft building, but I think it still have a potential to be bigger than that.

Also @MisterPenguin will be happy that rectangles are back. But @BrianLo will have his lawyers on speed dial if we get out of hand. ;)

I also had the theory that they could completely move the parade gate near the abandoned Pixar Pier hotel special entrance/path/near mermaid. And then you use the blue path option @mickEblu drew there, float drive backstage until new gate, behind Goofy's Sky School which already has a service road, just needs to be expanded onto that old hotel guest path.

If they maintain the existing area for a parade gate, I think it has to be Purple, given concept art shows the Coco entrance is right next to the existing food spaces.

My only concern with this is what that do to the hotel views? Would they want rooms overlooking a backstage area like that?

Just played around on Google Earth. If the parade path goes all the way around the Maintenance building it could be something like 1.11 acres* which = 48,356 square feet. Would be a similar square footage if it runs along the coaster too but if you need a service road anyway then I’m thinking the former makes more sense. With that said I can see a scenario where both exist as the parade route hugging the coaster doesn’t cut into very much of the Coco room at all.

*That little building in front of the Maintenance building is that the electrical building that’s still supposed to be demo’d?

I’m not sure. Kinda? I feel like a service road with parade floats and other vehicles running back n forth all day is probably not ideal for guests paying those prices though.
Some guests might get a kick out of seeing a parade from their room, even if part of it is backstage.

Also we're talking about a parade that runs what, 2, maybe 3 times a day. So lets not kid ourselves that it would be just constant parade floats running back and forth all day, that is not happening.

Will this happen, maybe, but I don't see the rooms being the factor on why they wouldn't.

Saw you posted this before...

Anyways, I see Coco being longer and closer to Incredicoaster so they can still keep the outer service road when its all said and done. Where parades go remains to be seen.

I didn’t say it was impossible. Just voiced a concern. “Let’s not kid ourselves” is an aggressive n interesting choice of words.

I’m assuming they would use the road for more than just the parade but could be wrong.
