Perhaps some of these ideas I had from a few years ago could work in a Disneyland park set in Sydney Australia:

"As you move around the park in a clockwise manner along the river, the next land next to New Zealand and Polynesia would be Australia. There would be audio animatronic animals like those found in Australia, such as Kangaroos and Koala Bears. There could be a reproduction of the settlement at Botany Bay (the penal colony) where modern day Sydney is located. You could have nefarious ruffians kind of like the pirates in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. There could also be an attraction where guests board Range Rovers or Land Rovers as they explore the Australian Outback. Their destination is to a reproduction of Ayers Rock (Uluru). There could also be an attraction where guests board glass bottomed boats so that they can explore the Great Barrier Reef.

I like the bulk of what you have done here.
I only have a few personal nitpicks.
*Why have a whole land based on Fantasia and have a Fantasia Ride in a completely separate land.
*Frontierland should be "Westernland".
*I don't see Country Bear Jamboree being that big of a draw, especially with WRE across the street.
*Splash Mountain on an island is brilliant!
*I personally would not feature any post-2009 WDAS IP.
*I think Nightmare works better as a seasonal overlay for HM.
*Where is the Haunted Mansion or is the Museum of the Weird standing in for it?

Fantasia Gardens is our Main Street equivalent. The dark ride is inside the castle.

It's not supposed to be a huge draw. It's supposed to be a "let's go in here and see what it is" attraction.

I understand your personal biases but you've actively admitted to not seeing any of the Disney Revival films.

Museum of the Weird and Tower of Terror are the thematic equivalent.

I do think we should have CBJ cut out in the new map since Splash will be going into Fantasyland... It may actually give us more room to add water features and the expanded Adventureland section

I agree with this. Outside of MAYBE Moana, none of them will be beloved classics in years to come.
I believe Rapunzel and those two girls from Arendelle would like to have a talk with you. Nostalgia is powerful and just like my parents went back and showed me Snow White and Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty and millennials are going back and showing their kids Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin and The Lion King, the kids growing up now are going to be showing their kids Moana and Frozen and Tangled. That's how they become classics.

Oh my gosh I couldn't imagine tangled not being good enough to last. That's my favorite Disney movie and my daughter watches that movie all the time and finding Nemo to. You really don't think their not good?

Thank you for the feedback @HMF !

Museum of the Weird and the Tower of Terror kinda morph into a "haunted" area -- so those two are the "Haunted Mansion" of the park. As for CBJ I definitely agree -- and I could see that being phased out.

It's why Star Wars will live on forever because I'm going to back and show my kids them in chronological order...and I bet they will like the prequels as much as I did when I was a kid (I still like them now)

Hi @MonorailRed, @spacemt354, @S.P.E.W. perhaps you might retheme Bear Country/Critter Country into the audioanimatronic animals in Botany Bay as a section of that land known as Outback Critter Country. Instead of Country Bear Jamboree, there could instead be a Koala Bear Jamboree where the Koalas are playing ukeleles, banjos, didgeridoos, etc. Yeah, I know that koala bears are marsupials and not actual bears, but it would provide for a similar though unique attraction not found at any of the other resorts. To keep the country theme, the audioanimatronic koalas could refer to themselves as Jackaroos and Jilleroos. Among the trophies on the wall like those at the other Country Bear Jamborees, there could be a kangaroo and an emu (since Australia is the only country that hunts its national animal and national bird). There also might be a Tasmanian Devil as a trophy.

Yeah sure!

I think @MonorailRed is working on a new map -- maybe one that blends @D Hindley 's design for the front gates. Any idea where you think the parade route might go?
I can't believe I am suggesting this but cutting Critter Country would free up a lot more budget for extra projects considering that Splash exists in 3 other parks and is based on a movie Disney is ashamed of. Also I would cut most of Villains Land and bring Bald Mountain into Fantasyland.

That's actually what we are thinking of doing haha just because we can't seem to get a sound footing on it -- a lot of great ideas, but nothing to combine it together. We were thinking of moving Splash to Fantasyland though creating a transition into Frontierland or whatever we end up calling the left side of the park, mostly because of the iconic music and we have a few Splash Mountain purists on the team here!

As long as the existing Splash Mountain's remain intact. I don't think another one is nessacary and it would likely be a "Value-engineered" version knowing Disney's budgets these days.
