It's freezing here, too. I'll take a candy bar! :slurp:

Seems to be ok, thanks for asking. Windows Vista is taking some getting used to. Our old one had Windows XP and it was much more user friendly. Vista is a little much for me, but it came w/the computer....
I don't like Vista. I scares me. My DH's computer has it. Mine has XP. I like it better.

Not a problem, that's what we're here for...and I understand the 'whatever you think' crapola....BELIEVE ME.

((HUGS)) Susan - I'm sorry for all the car trouble you're having.
That "whatever you think" is the worst.:brick:

and thanks. We have to have that vehicle. I go one way and DH goes the other way.

Why do they do that?? :hammer: :hammer:

I'm sorry too, Susie. Hang in there.

Well, I can't speak for yours, only mine...his mom was the final decision-maker in that house. She really didn't have a choice, actually, because his dad wouldn't do anything till he got good and ready. So as much as DH doesn't like to hear it, that's where he learned it. Only problem is, I'm not his mom. :hammer:

Hi Katy! Good for you for booking the tickets! Did you go with Airtran?

Yes it was a bit more then the 189 I found the other day, but I figured I should just do it and get it over with. That way everyone can pay me for the ticket now, and then when it comes time to pay for the actual trip in August or Sept, they wont be hit all at once with a huge bill to pay me.

Also now that my flight is booked, I can go online at anytime and choose our seats for 5 dollars a person each way. I might just go online and do that in afew months, so then I can get the seats I want, and I will just pay the 40 bucks for everyone and not tell them. They are all a bit tight for money so I am trying to make it as cheap as possible for them.

With mine it's mainly to avoid an argument. But we've been married for almost 10 years, so even thought I could have said, "Oh, great! Whatever I think! I'll call and change it right now!", instead I said, 'No, I really want your opinion." And we had calm, rational discussion. Miracles do happen!

Wow, that's really nice of you to do that. Are you going with friends?

No it's my mom, my aunt, and my cousin.
My brother has gotten into some trouble with the law and it happened after I booked this trip. My mom has spent most of their money on the lawyer and things so she was not even going to go. That is why I have been stressing about finding a cheap flight. I don't make very much money but I am trying to get enough saved to buy her trip and mine.

Oh we discuss, it's just 'whatever you think' is almost a knee-jerk reaction for him. He's a pacifist at heart, doesn't want to disagree...get along with everybody. Sometimes though, it's only with discussion that anything can be solved. I must admit sometimes it really gets to me, but we never really argue, we're just not like that. We talk it out.

Howdy, Howdy, Howdy!

Nibblies, LOOOVE the video - full of Disney spirit.:sohappy: Doing good here, though I'm freezing my hiney off...it was 5 degrees taking the kids to school . I plan to work in my clay today, just pondering whether I want to do handbuilding or taking another try at the wheel. How's everyone doing?

Thanks sweetie!

Eek on the cold!!! It was supposed to be 4 degrees here, either last night or tonight!

Love it! :sohappy: Very perky and Disney-esque. Enthusiastic without being over the top. Well done, Nibbs!

Thanks! That's me...perky! :D

I know, me too! :dazzle: Our house is a tri-level, and the lower level, which has our family room w/ the computer, is freezing! *shivers* Abby said she wishes we could go to Florida right now, and I must say I agree with her!

I want to go to FL too! (Wait...I am...in 29 days! :D ) And ooh...candy bars!!

So..... I ended up not changing the reservation. When DH came home, I told him I wanted to talk about it. He tried his "whatever you think...." crap that drives me crazy. I said, no, this is a big decision and it needs to be done together. His reasons for keeping the garden view room were all valid: the MK view is way more money, how much are we in the room to truly enjoy the view, and since we lucked out once before w/ a free upgrade, maybe we will again. (I highly doubt it) In the end, I agreed that as much as we loved the view this past trip, what made it even better was that we hadn't paid for it. So, garden view it is, and cross you fingers for us that we luck out again. Thanks for all the help the other day.

I think that's smart. And you just might get upgraded again. You know, since you're going at an extremely busy time...it just might happen. Not many people are going to want to pay for the MK view, esp. if it's a good chunk of change more. And in holiday season, it really is a good chunk of change more, I'd think.

Vista's not so bad. I have it on my new computer. It takes a while to get used to the "fancyness" of it...but after you get over that, you realize it works just like XP did. It's just prettier.

((Hugs)) This trip will end up being very welcoming for them, I'm sure!

Well, I'm back now!!!

Hello Nibbs! Take me to Florida with you!!!!
I must say they're going all out for the candy this time - name brand Hersheys, Reeses, Kit Kats...the only one I don't recognize is Caramella. But Mike takes them to work and tells them the price ($1), and they help themselves. That's how we sold most of ours last time. Only this time, Joel is selling too.

You're more than welcome to come to FL with me...but you're gonna have to pay your own way! :lookaroun

And yeah...a buck a candy bar will sell it. (I've heard of Carmellos...they're delicious!) It is harder though now with Joel selling I'm sure. Gotta be fair...

Sounds like you all will need the vacation! ((Hugs))

We're both hotheads, unfortunately. But we've gotten much, much better at talking things out instead of a yelling free-for-all.

Thanks sweetie!

Yeah, Vista is "fancy". But once I get used to it, I'm sure it will be fine.

Yay for almost time to go to Florida!

And if we get the upgrade, awesome, but I'm not going to count on it. That will only cause disappointment if we don't get it.
