Man, I was just checking out that conference in Chicago, between the hotel and cost of the conference itself, it's slightly over $600. And it's two weeks before our Disney trip. :brick:

Yikes! it does sound interesting though.

Slightly OT, I watched a show about Asperger's last night on PBS, and was in tears by the time it was over.....

That new show after Lost last night was about Autism and the vacines

Oh I heard about that, the AAP had it's panties in a bunch because of the plot. I think it was about a court case of a child's reaction to the flu shot, and the jury sided with the defendent after they found out the maker of the shot wouldn't vaccinate his own kids with the shot. AAP called it irresponsible, and would lead to more deaths.
I'm so sick of this issue. If they'd pull the friggin mercury out in the first place, we wouldn't be in this mess.

Yeah, a lot of people have fallen off the LOST bandwagon because they couldn't follow it or it was simply too boring. What I really like the show for is all the connections, "Easter eggs" and themes that are prevalent through each episode.

I actually liked that show. (Hey, it was on after LOST, of course I watched it. )

Hmmm, sorry I missed it...although my mind has so much info stuffed into it when it comes to this topic.
It's just sad, really...there's a lot of parents out there that have been thoroughly disillusioned by the attitude of medical 'professionals' ranting that there is no connection and that it's just hysterical parents that don't want to accept their kids will never be 'normal' (Grrrrrr....).
What we won't accept is that there is nothing that can be done. And we can't shut our minds to all possibilities, because we want our kids well. Not perfect. Well.
I will never blindly trust the medical profession again. They have let me down.

When it was on Wednesday nights I couldn't watch it because I had to work and by the time I could watch it... Oh lets just say I lost interest.:lookaroun
