check cashing spots ?

My husband asked to to try to find out if it is possible to cash com-checks anywhere on property.

Afraid I don't know what a com-check is, but I have been able to cash travellers cheques at City Hall in Magic Kingdom.

Not sure what a com check is either, but, most resorts will cash checks (with a daily limit).

My mother cashed a check last Jan at Port Orleans (we were staying there) and it was from her business. They have a daily limit as posted before.

I think they had to call someone to verify the check before cashing though... Only took about 5 minutes.

I'll try to clarify. A com-check is also called a data-com. My husband is a distpatch/account manager for a nationwide tr__________g company. All truck stops can accept/cash data-coms.

Its sort of like the company sends a paycheck through the computer/phone lines to a designated spot which then cashes it for the receipient. It isn't based on a bank account per-se, but is a company check or advance.

I'm sorry I can't explain it better, but that's the best I understand it myself.
( I just know that he gets lots of calls on the weekends from drivers asking him to authorize a check for them !)

If this equates to a third party check, then no it will not be cashed by Disney. The checks have to made out to WDW.
