Has anyone heard exactly what will be done or is pretty much hush hush??

Unfortunately, it will probably be getting the 20,000 Leagues treatment. You know, they say it's going down for a much needed rehab, but since it's so complex and difficult to run, they are secretly covering up it's demise. I could be wrong though. Sorry to be the bearer of possible bad news. If you're going to WDW between now and then, be sure to see it just in case!

To me it sounds like it's going to be an actual rehab.

It would be nice to see this, but it just doesn't make any sense. They keep the ride closed so much in the past two years and now they decide to do a big rehab and facelift. Something just doesn't seem right. And if that were the case, why would Disney still call it a seasonal attraction. You think they would have taken the title away and saved the money on ink that they use to print it in the times guide every week.

Strange, anyone else remember Horizons closing then opening then closing then opening then BAM! No more Horizons. Let's just hope its not that kind of rehab.

The Optomist:
I guess since it has been open year round, Management has noticed that it is still very popular. Since it has benn popular, they are hoping that a rehab will make it even more popular.
The Pessimist:
I sure hope this isn't a quiet way of closing down Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress. Does anyone know how long the rehab will last?? I find it odd that there is no specified time frame for it to reopen from its rehab.

Okay getting off subject a bit but... how long is rehab expected to last. A friend of mine is going down the first week of December and would be upset if it's not open!!!

Grizz - do let us know if you find out anything. And yes, I did email guest services! And whilst you have your undercover liason on Saturday, can you tweak your contact for any tid bits about the Odyssey at Epcot?
