The movie has reopened and BONUS you can bring food and drinks inside with you! Unfortunately Canada hasn’t been paying its hydro bill and can’t afford to illuminate their pavilion icon anymore.

The previous colour scheme was more accurate to how Chateau Laurier looks:

Unless the new paint is to give it an older look, although I don't believe the building ever had dark grey bricks. Most Canadian RR hotels have a brown/red brick exterior (Banff Springs, Frontenac) or lighter grey or beige (Lake Louise).

yes I agree, really not sure what the idea is with the grey colour scheme, hopefully they stick to the beige it’s always been.
