Can You Use Multiple Disney Gift Cards for buying Disney Package?

I previously asked this question on Reddit, but it got a bit confusing with varying answers. I'm planning to surprise a family member with a trip to Walt Disney World and want to buy 10 Disney gift cards from Target, as they only allow $500 per card. My budget is $5,000.

My question is, can my family member use all 10 gift cards for a single purchase on the Disney website for the resort and tickets? I’m wondering if there’s a limit to how many gift cards can be used at once. Since I don’t have a membership to BJ's Wholesale Club, buying the cards at Target seems like the best option. I was toying with the idea buying a gift card directly from Disney to be emailed. But that had negative reviews. And again, $500 limit for each gift card.

I'm not sure how many you can use, it does seem to vary with what you are using them for, AP's, DVC dues, vacation packages, etc.
But, on Disney's gift card website you used to be able to combine cards (I think) up to $1000 per card. Hope that helps some.
