and that's my point exactly.. go and do something else.. and its not selfish in the least.. but you have a room FULL of people.. and now a ride should stop and be totally reset because you , who already know that there may be a problem, has a problem with your kid..

no.. Don't ruin the room's full of magic because you already know the answer.. and its not sour grapes or anything else..

what this thread is a JUSTIFICATION so that you can pull something that you know that YOU SHOULD NOT DO..

that was the purpose of this thread.. Hey I want to do something THAT I SHOULD NOT DO.. is it okay..

simple answer..

No..

and no one should back you or poo poo you.. You knew it was already a problem before you posted.. its the justification that you want..

no.. sorry.. but No.. there is no justification for this..

just go on a different ride.. its no big deal.. but don't ruin that ride for me or the rest of the people in that room.

:brick:

Really ?

I could explain to you again, as other have done, what information the OP was attempting to obtain, but you will ignore it anyway.

I failed to notice that you are the same person from the Jungle Cruise thread who saw stuff that was never there. Despite people posting information from official ride manuals from the opening of the right, you still insisted you were right.

I see this thread going the same way.

Just something to think about. ANY of us may have to leave CoP at a moments notice. Some people have IBS, some may have a seizure, some have blood sugar sugar issues, some may just get sick from what they ate. I guess in your little world NOBODY should ride CoP but you. Seeing as there is an outside chance someone may stroke out, have a IBS attack, or a kid may cry, I would not want your magic ruined.

We need time for things to happen.
This is Disney world.. and I don't want my share of the magic ruined by someone who isn't thinking about anyone but themselves..

again.. did I hear the Haunted Mansion mentioned? No.. or Dumbo? no..

or Splash Mountain? no.

but because, some one feels that they can just up and leave because their kid can't behave, means that they shouldn't be on the ride in the first place..

You know your kid.. if it doesn't behave.. don't take it on this ride.. period.

go some where to a different ride..

but don't even start to PLAN TO WALK OUT, and ruin my time. because Disney is too expensive to have my time ruined by your attitude and actions..
meaning that YOU ALREADY KNOW YOUR KID IS A PROBLEM..

fine.. then don't go on the ride..

see this is one of those Maelstrom ride attitudes.. meaning lets ride the boat and push our way through and not watch the film.. because WE CAN..

you are already planning this.. and if YOU NEED TO PLAN FOR IT, You allready know the answer.. Its a no go..

see that's where your ego and arrogance overrules .. that you know that there is a problem but you are going to DO IT ANYWAYS.. and then mess with me and my family..

no.. if you have to ask.. YOU KNOW THE ANSWER.. don't go on the ride..

Wow dude....just wow. Take a pill brother --one of the chill variety.

Although I think the poster talking about EGOs is far off base, I do find issue with the fact that everyone is telling OP NO you can't walk out. Yet, he repeatedly posts that he saw someone do it. What's the point in asking a question if you're going to argue with the answers? The majority is saying no, you can't. The ride says yoou can't. Doesn't matter what someone else did. Maybe they got lucky and that sensor missed it. Do you really want to risk everyone else's enjoyment to test the system? You asked if you could, everyone says no. Question has been answered.

I can see how you migh think that, but that is not the case. When the answer was no right away, the reason was that it would cause the ride to stop, dogs and cats would start living together, life as we know it would cease to exist. At that point, it became, to me at least, more of an interesting discussion of logistics because I witnessed someone leave and nothing happened. It certainly wasn't my intention to make it sound as if I was arguing and saying that I was going to do it anyway. So I wasn't arguing with answers, I was just saying that I actually witnessed this and it didn't go as was said. That did not mean that I would do it, it was simply a statement that contradicted what others have said.

If you took it that way, oh well, but that wasn't my intention.

Musketeer - It doesn't need saying that you wouldn't take a bawling child on, by the very fact you've asked the question out of consideration for others. By being concerned about others if your child happens to get noisy, you are showing consideration, you're not saying "I'm entitled to ride like this and anyone who spoils it is selfish". Turning that selfishness round is quite easy.... I'd rather ride with you than some others....although I could have fun winding them up.

This is precisely what I was about to post, you just beat me to it.

Musketeer - I appreciate your consideration in asking.

I understand you have witnessed something once that caused you to have doubts and I respect your attempt to ascertain the facts.

Even if I were seated next to you with a fractious toddler, I would be happier than being seated next to someone with a "it's my vacation and I'll bully if I want to" attitude.

bjlc57 - You may want to remember that even a whiny child has a paid ticket to MK and has just as much right to be there as you do. Musketeer has done the right thing in asking first so as to NOT disturb other guests. Too bad your attitude isn't as courteous.
