Well today and for the rest of the week there is a sort of test going on at the MK. Drake Mallard has come out of his shell to put on the cape once again. Darkwing Duck has come back to make an appearance at the MK. He's in town square in the mornings and evenings. So catch the this ducked cape crusader before he goes off to become Drake Mallard again.

Also, the Rescue Ranges have come back from Head quatrers to make special meet and greets with fine folks from around the world. So dont miss Chip and Dale before these two gum shoes go off to find clues and solve some more mysteries.

More character updates later to come on.....

I'm not too familiar with the Disney Afternoon characters, so please pardon me if this is not news at all, but I was in MK last Monday and saw Launchpad McQuack as well. I'm not sure if he's usually there, but I figured anyone who's interested might want to know.
I just kept thinking that being in a duck suit would be hot enough - it was around 100 with the heat index - but then it would be even worse with a leather bomber jacket on top of it like he wears. Ouch.

:p

Holy crap! Darkwing? Oh I LOVED DW! I saw Launchpad the last time I was there in June but they weren't letting anyone else in line so I missed out. Wow. I really, really really hope I get to see him next time I go. That'd be awesome. Do you know what his apperance schedule is?

As of right now I do not know his set times that he comes out, but I do know that he comes out in town square in the morning anywhere from the times of 9:00 A.M. to 1:30P.M. And then in the afternoon from 4:30P.M to 7:30P.M. If anything becomes concrete I will let ya know. Launch pad though does come out quite often but I would look for him a little more.

I'd love to see DW. I've seen Launchpad numerous times.

One of my prized possessions is an 'Art of Disney' DW sketch. After being assured by a sketch artist at MGM that they could no longer do DW, a friendly sketch artist at the AoD in Epcot was able to dig up a master sketch of DW to draw from and did one for me. That's my brush with 'Disney Magic'. :D

I really miss Disney Afternoon. Tailspin, Goof Troop, Duck Tales and Darkwing Duck were all high-quality Disney Cartoons. Quack Pack was good as well. Disney ought to look at maybe bringing these shows back with new episodes. I used to watch Disney Afternoon every weekday. On my first trip to Walt Disney World, there was a Disney Afternoon show in Mickey's Starland. Ah memories.

Just this week or do you think that they'll still be doing it next Monday? I might be there next monday and I'll definately make a plan to track him down if he's around. Oooh, man it's so cool. I've loved DW for years. ;)
