
California's Great America set to close in 11 years, long goodbye planned after land sold
The land next to Levi's Stadium was sold to a Bay Area-based logistics real estate company for $310 million and will be shut down for good, which came as a shock to those who have long-loved the nearly 50-year-old South Bay staple.
While it's sad to see this happening to a great park, I had a feeling it was going to happen at some point. Before Covid they had major plans for this park and when Rail Blazer didn't move attendance much it sealed its fate.
