Wow...they spelled out the attraction to be replaced by Kong (it's 99% official now).

If you look at the pics on Screamscape, you will see "new graffiti"
Shrek & Jimmy Neutron are in one pic (2 of USF's NEW attractions that have already been announced) and in the other pic it mentions "THE MUMMY KILLED KONG" (so...you can pretty much etch it in stone that it WILL be the Mummy) (I know MOST people knew that it was the mummy anyways :) )

Or you sure that is official??? I saw those, often people just write stuff on the walls. Along with all the gum. Not saying that the Mummy isn't coming, just saying that I'm not sure that was officially put on the walls.

See...for some reason I thought that Universal was just "talking about" a mummy attraction to throw people off the scent of what they were really up to. I really would've put money on an Apollo 13 coaster (but more than just a coaster). I could've sworn that I've seen pics of the ride vehicles and track layout before.

But, the mummy graffiti MUST mean something...2 of the 3 characters they mentioned have new attractions that have already been confirmed...I don't believe that they would say "THE MUMMY KILLED KONG" (kinda like Mr. Toad handing over the deed in the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh)

>>>I could've sworn that I've seen pics of the ride vehicles and track layout before.<<<

There were indeed plans for an Apollo 13 coaster, but several issues, including the fact that it's costs were through the roof kept it from happening.

The grafitti was nothing more then gusts having fun, and writing in thier speculations.

Do you really think if Univcersal placed that there, as in indication of what was replacing Kong, they would still be not releasing info on the new attraction.

Hints thrown in parks as to coming attractioins are done much more proefesionally then that. It was nothing more then some guests with a bit to much time on thier hands and a couple of felt pens.

Nothing official.

Ok, then I'm NOT going insane :) Thanks for clearing that up pheneix

Out with the old king and in with a new. That was a hint given when I went through orientation for Universal. I do believe that something mummy-esque will replace Kongfrontation but I have a hard time believing it will be the Scorpion King going solo. I think maybe a mix of the two movies.

I really wish we would have gotten an Austin Powers attraction though. :(

Well, believe it or not, but there is a gremlins ride (in Australia I believe), but that is the wrong Movie Company anyway. But I do agree, a gremlins ride sounds so cool.

I'm looking, here's what I got so far, but this is from the German park...

Warner Bros. Studio:
The Gremlins Invasion
When the little furry monsters invade the film studio, chaos breaks out. Make sure ALF escorts you to safety in time.

Kinda weird to have ALF also... check this out also... a Never Ending Story themed Water Raft Ride with Animatronic characters, here's a picture of the Luck Dragon...

Apparently the one in Australia is no longer there, here's a link to some of the German pictures of the Gemlins Ride with ALF (I will keep looking for more and better pictures). I believe this is the pre-show or something.

Well, I found out that the Gremlins Australia ride was replaced with a very alsome scooby coaster/dark ride based on the haunted ride in the movie, unfortunately I cannot find any picture archives of that Gremlins attraction, although I did see a park map that listed it as an attraction, oh well, maybe someone else can scrouge something up, I tried.:)

Makes you wonder, what all kinds of freakin awesome amusement parks are on the horizon, the WB parks overseas definitely beat any of the ones we have here, I also saw attractions like the Blazing Saddles Shooting Gallery, the Marvin Martian 3D ride, Police Acadamy Stunt Show, Tom & Jerry Themed Wild Mouse, and of course the scooby doo coaster...

SCOOBY-DOO SPOOKY COASTER

See the Movie…DOO the Ride!

The world’s bravest Great Dane super hero has arrived at Warner Bros. Movie World with the launch of the scariest, spookiest spine-tingling rollercoaster ever created!

Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster is a $13 million indoor rollercoaster ride inspired by the feature film shot at Warner Roadshow Movie World Studios on the Gold Coast, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr., Matthew Lillard, Linda Cardellini and Rowan Atkinson.

Prepare for the supernatural as you enter the creepy dimly lit courtyard and move into the heart of Spooky Castle – watch out for ghouls, gargoyles and the odd talking suit of armour!

Coaster cars carefully replicated from Scooby-Doo the film, launch guests on a hair-raising journey complete with laser lighting and sound effects, animatronics and a kaleidoscope of colour, depth, height and trickery of dimension.

Just when you think the journey is over, you will find yourself pulled upwards into the castle ceiling and thrust on an adrenalin pumping journey downwards towards a ring of fire!

Be AFRAID…be kind of afraid!

Found something on the Australia one...

The Great Gremlins Adventure-

Something is dreadfully wrong ......... there are Gremlins in the works!!!!!!
The Great Gremlins Adventure takes you into a Warner Bros. screening room where some of Hollywood's funniest moments are shown as 'out-takes' (those bits that did not make it to the silver screen!). But something goes wrong and suddenly an evacuation is immediate .... Gremlins have taken over .... real Gremlins! Prepare for an escape through the backroom film vaults!! The Great Gremlin Adventure ride has a total of 56 gremlins running amuck!
