Buffets

I have a friend who will be at WDW in the fall. Her family is planning on eating dinners at H&V, LTT, CP & CM's. I know that they are all buffets and will offer similiar menus, but do you all think that there will not be enough of a difference if they do all of them in a week? I thought there would be, but I'd check with fellow posters to get your thoughts.

They also be eating at LeCellier, Cape May, Coral Reef and Boma to make sure to get variety in their menu.

Remember that Boma is also a Buffet too, but one I highly recommend. It has a very diverse selection by the way, and many things they can't get at other buffets.

LTT is not a buffet, but is served family style. As for the others, I think it should be fine. Even if the food is simular, the difference in characters at each place will bring a different experience.

LTT is not a buffet, it is all you care to eat, but is served family style and the food is different from the standard buffets (Thanksgiving dinner). Boma is great - many different foods to choose from, most familiar, but prepared with African spices. Cape May has a good seafood buffet, but has many standard foods for those who don't like seafood and the desserts are very good.

Le Cellier is very good also. :slurp:

Thanks! They are traveling with a big group so thought buffets/family style would be easier/quicker for all of them, 15 I think.

On our last trip we did CM, CP, Chef Mickeys and BOMA all in one trip. We got very different food items on each. :slurp: :slurp: :slurp: :slurp:

I think they will find the quality of both the service and the food varies greatly from place to place too, and everyone in their group will have their favorite by the end of the trip!

Lots of variety = happy campers!...especially when traveling with a large group! They made the right choices!

from what i am learning Boma has a lot of variety and choices for everyone. they could consider going there more than once.

They have a rotation of three main menus so you could get some different foods each time, with the lesser dishes being the same. I was very impressed with the guys at the buffet who were explaining all the dishes, made me want to try them all (I did my best that night :lookaroun ).

Chef mickeys is always a last day must for us, the food is great, the atmosphere is well set, and you get the main characters.

Chrystal palace is also very good food wise. They have carving stations, good vegetables, and the salmon i had was unreal.

Also on our trips, liberty tree tavern is a must. It may not be buffet, but its family style. All you can eat turkey, roast beef, ham, green beans, macaroni and cheese (stouffers stlye) stuffing (also i think stouffers) and mashed potatoes (best ive probably had) This is probably one of the best meals in Disney to me, and the best value. Plus you get the characters in a independance day theme.

Cape may basically is a lot of great seafood too. Been a while since ive done that place, but i remember i loved it.

Either way, they might all be buffets, but they all have a different variety of foods, so its not like your buffeting on pizza and fries every night.
