I was just on Laughingplace.com and saw this...

"Imagineer, Author Bruce Gordon passes away
Longtime Imagineer and author Bruce Gordon has passed away. Gordon is best known to Disney fans for his books including The Nickel Tour and Walt's Time and for his performances at NFFC Conventions with fellow Imagineer and co-author David Mumford (who passed away in 2003)."

Walt's Time is one of my most treasured WDW books. Rest in Peace, Bruce -- thanks for the magic you spread.

I'm speechless.
Met Bruce several times...a wonderful guy.
We're now without both him and David Mumford. Very sad.

Wow. I remember the name Bruce Gordon from his insightful BACK TO THE FUTURE write-ups in STARLOG Magazine, back when I was a young teen in the 80s. The Imagineer designation in his byline caught my attention way back then.

You were an inspiration, Bruce!

Wow, that's really sad. Another great Imagineer lost. I've always enjoyed the books he has written, and I think The Nickel Tour is my favorite Disney-related book EVER. :(
