Breakfast at Crystal Palace on a day that MK does not have EMH...

So ... if we make reservations for breakfast at 8 a.m. on a day that the MK doesn't open until 9 ... does the resort have buses going over to MK early ... or would we have to find our own transportation? The goal of course, is to get into the park while it's practically empty ... would love to get a picture of myself in front of the castle with nobody standing there ...

There is buses still running we often go for breakfast at crystal Palace on the first day to get pics of the castle while it's empty

Yes, they run buses before park hours. Just make sure you ask at the front desk to make sure of the time. I believe they start running at 7AM.

As has been said - Disney transportation starts running in time to get Resort guests to the park in time for any activity which will take place within the park (even before the park opens)

As for your photo "alone in front of the castle" - you may not get that close, but you will get it in the background at the top of Main Street with perhaps only a CM in the shot

MY wife and I do this every trip. She loves the puffed French toast. And you can get all the way around partners. With the addition of the Cinderella breakfast it makes it easier to get those pictures. We have never had a problem getting over on the bus.
