Come on folks.Just read you get a bread basket for your table and then you pick small entrée and a beverage for $20.00 plus tax and gratuity. your talking 25.00 a person for a roll/mini muffin some eggs and a coffee... $50.00 a couple or near a $100.00 for family of four for breakfast!!! I love Disney but more and more its not about the magical experience but more about the bottom line $$$$$$$$

It's simple supply and demand.

Disney has BOG open for 2 hours for breakfast every morning. Limited supply.

The demand for BOG has been huge since it opened.

Therefore, Disney can charge higher prices and get away with it.

If you don't like it, you don't have to eat there. I think if you're on the DDP, it's a great value for QS, but otherwise, I'll stick with Kona, The Wave, etc. for breakfast.

I agree the price may be insanely high, but.... Yeah, you could take your family of 4 to Dennys and walk out with a $30.00 tab including tip... Or you could go to Beast's Castle and spend $100.00 in the bubble of Disney and have memories forever... Not too sure you would ever remember that breakfast at Dennys 10 years from now, but the memories of seeing your kids faces when they meet Belle? Or the Beast? Priceless, and I'm certain Disney is having no problems filling those unwanted reservation times.. Go for it!

Edit: Does not appear at this time that characters will be appearing, but that being said, the atmosphere and special effects are well worth the visit.

You have memories of Denny's after the breakfast.

And I'm sure it will be just about impossible to get in, even at that price. Consumers' willingness to pay is what sets prices. Any time you have a restaurant that's difficult to get into without a six-months-in-advance reservation, it's actually an indication that the restaurant is under priced.

The most fantastic feature is that you have the privilege to choose to dine elsewhere.

I have a feeling those prices were just there as a filler. But even at 20$...if it includes your drink, pastries, and an above average breakfast meal...it's not a horrible price. People will pay it because they want to get in BOG.I don't think it has much to do with the food or the price. If you want to go inside and have some good pics and a sit down breakfast before the park opens at 9am, this is a good plan.

If I were ever truly inclined to eat breakfast in the Magic Kingdom, I'd just pick up a muffin and coffee from the Main Street Bakery to snack on while I make my way to Adventureland.

However, most of the time, i just eat breakfast at the hotel. I try to be in the park as close to rope-drop as possible, and when I'm in the park, I'm IN THE PARK, no breaks until about 2:00 when the lunch crowds subside.

But it looks nice and fancy.
