At least they still make new, original area music here. I like Mission: Space’s music a great deal and enjoyed TT2.0’s.

Yeah. Even the topek loop, with how repetitive it can be, is beautiful music wise to me. It seems to me that even when they actively or unintentionally try to, they can’t fully make Epcot bad or get rid of that identity, even if it is a shell. Though they were sure close with some parts of the original redo. Honestly, I think the COVID cancellations could’ve been a long term blessing in disguise for Epcot. I think still now, there are people in WDI who know what Epcot is and should be that are held back by executives in some form. Maybe not everyone but SOME. I hope test track will be a step in the right direction in the future with SSE, Figment, and beyond.

I really like the new loop. I was saying that last night. Tying it into Luminous is absolutely wonderful for me. Very well done. But, it is too broadly used. I wish Nature and Discovery had their own loops. They can have references to the main loop, but it is a little too much across everything.
With that, we walked out of SSE to have We Go On playing on SSE. I didn't realize they were still using that loop, and it legit got me. Getting to hear the I:ROE finale back in Epcot was pretty awesome. (As was the ARTS OG Imagination show.)

There's no question for me--the melody she made is beautiful and I do love the use of different musical styles to represent pavilions within the park. Just wish they had some of those pavilion themes also integrated. Kind of like how they integrate her melody into Disney songs during Luminous. It brings a really beautiful musical consistency to the park in a way we don't see in the other parks.
Given the park's unique musical history, I wish they would work to integrate the past with new music a bit better. Kind of like how the Tomorrowland loop integrates music from long-gone attractions. Nothing like hearing "Miracles from Molecules" while riding the PeopleMover!

Those two YT videos are the neither the current interstitial BGM between the evening shows. Both of those videos hammer hard the main themes. The new interstitial BGM has a light, soothing touch.

Especially since they went through the effort of making 3 "different" neighborhoods, you'd think they would make 3 different loops.

We know they downgraded from a big beautiful fountain to that ugly planter.

Every pavilion should have a loop, but at the bare minimum yes there should be a loop for each "neighborhood".

Being a theme park music nerd is fun but exhausting.
Nemo, Journey of Water, Test Track, and Mission: SPACE's loops aren't evident until you get very close to the attractions.
Guardians and (finally) The Land have loops you can hear well outside the areas.
Figment's loop is a tragic tale.
I think Pinar's loop is good -- and I like that it appears in Luminous. World Disco and Nature should have at least gotten variations on the main theme with different instrumentations and styles.

The Pinar Toprak BGM has several variations that play in different sections of the park. The BGM has not changed at all since World Celebration opened in 2023.

This reminds me of when they used We've Just Begun To Dream ag opening gate and when they used it again as the closing score for Illuminations 25..

It is an extreme shame that they've retired We've Just Begun to Dream. I get that the Toprak theme is EPCOT's "new anthem", but it doesn't hold a candle to the anthem it already had before.

when was the new interstitial bgm added? I went last Saturday but didn't notice anything different. Though that could be because the encanto show music was blasting in my ear most of the time.

Retired years ago and replaced by the new main loop. It was "brought back" last year and now plays exclusively in the pavilion restrooms, replacing the original BGM that had hung on in those restrooms since the park opened.
