Help! I have already made an ADR for Akershus for dinner, but am not hearing great things about the food. Our b/g twins will be 2 years old. Which restaurant would be best for them that has decent food?? Thanks!

You'll be fine at Akershus if seeing princesses was your main reason to eat there. They have a children's bar that has kid-friendly food...adults can 'sample' from there too, if needed. We have enjoyed many restaurants at WS but one of the ones that our children enjoyed and grandchildren now enjoy is Biergarten.

What @Disvillain63 said concerning Akerhaus. I also second Biergarten as it's a buffet and you can get what you want. Tutti Italia and a dish of pasta was also a good fall back when our DS was younger.

I would keep Ahershus because the princesses will definitely hold their attention. When my kids were little, I was lucky if they ate at character meals because they were so excited about the characters. My kids liked Le Chefs de France. The food on the kids menu was pretty basic. I would take a look at the different menus to see if there is a restaurant that would appeal to both the adults and kids.

Most of the restaurants in WS offer pretty basic kids food in addition to the regular menu. Our little one has eaten at La Hacienda, R&C, Le Chefs, Via Napoli, Le Cellier, and Akershus (breakfast) - between the ages of 1 and 3 - and we had no issues with her eating at any of them.

If memory serves correctly, at Akershus the menu you order from is ALSO all you can eat, just like the buffet bar. So if your child orders something they do not care for you can order something else. I believe we did that for my daughter but it has been a few years so I am not 100% certain.

Not really a suggestion as much as a warning, but I would stay away from Via Napoli. It seems tempting because its pizza and kids love pizza, but it was extremely loud. The constant, screeching, noise level eventually wore on my 3 year old and he got extremely cranky about halfway through the meal. It was comparable to Crystal palace in terms of volume and chaos, but without the characters to keep the kids happy.

I do second Biergarten for kids though. I've eaten there with toddlers multiple times and they have always loved it.
