I picked mulan just for i'll make a man out of you. However I love the tarzan soundtrack and aladdin and little mermaid. A lot of tough choices especially for someone who grew up with these songs and movies.

The always underrated Hunchback of Notre Dame- God Help the Outcasts, Out There, A Guy Like You, Bells of Notre Dame, etc. They are all great. Disneys most underrated and underappreciated modern day classic.

Wait, is this just the songs or the score too?
I mean, Hans Zimmer worked on Lion King. I'd say contributed a lot more to the film than Elton John.

Mulan. Jerry Goldsmith is pure brilliance, and Mulan's beautiful score is no exception. I love the mood he creates with this score, especially when Mulan is making her transformation from daughter to soldier, and running away from home. The mountain battle with the huns and avalanche scene hosts some of Goldsmith's most epic pieces of work (imo). Definitely an underrated Disney film with an extraordinary musical score. My favorite song in the film is it's theme: Honor To Us All.

Wow what a tough question!!! So many great soundtracks but I voted For The Lion King. It holds Special meaning to me and I love every song but,

The always underrated Hunchback of Notre Dame- God Help the Outcasts, Out There, A Guy Like You, Bells of Notre Dame, etc. They are all great. Disneys most underrated and underappreciated modern day classic.

I do totally agree. This soundtrack is definitely underrated and often forgotten about. It truly is amazing.

^^ Whoa, back up. Jerry Goldsmith did Mulan? Man, I really need to rewatch certain Disney movies now that I'm into film scores.

Beauty and the Beast for me. As a fan of Broadway musicals, I grokked onto the Ashman/Menken songs from the get-go. And, frankly, the opening moments, with the gorgeous animation combined with the gorgeous music, still makes me gasp and brings a tear to my eye.

I absolutely love the music from Beauty and the Beast, but I feel that Hunchback of Notre Dame may be one of the most underrrated when it comes to songs. The music is truly powerful. I would love to see it become a Broadway musical.

If you liked Goldsmith's battle cues from the move, you need to listen to this:
Warning though, the lyrics are VERY un-Disney.

A lot of those movies have good soundtracks, but i really like the score in movies after the Renaissance. Such films as Dinosaur, Atlantis, and Treasure Planet.

WOW this was so hard for me to choose!! I ended up going with "Tarzan" 'cause out of all those movies listed it's probably the only one I have the entire soundtrack on my iPod. LOL But "The Lion King" was a close second. :)

However, if "Meet The Robinsons" was on there, that one would have won for me, hands down. :D

I wasn't sure if we were voting on songs or score...which is two very separate things.

I voted for Aladdin, since it's one of my favorite movies for both. (but really I like the songs from the Aladdin that-never-was even better! High Adventure, and You Can Count On me)

Just for the songs? pure and simple...Lion King beats all.
