Best Ride Music at WDW

I just had a great idea (well I think so) that might have been done before but I have not seen. I want to know what people believe is the best in ride music at Walt Disney World. Rides would not be the same without the great music to help the atmosphere. So here is a poll to find the greatest. If I have missed any out the just write a reply and tell me. This is only RIDES, not shows or parades. Thank you!

Of course I voted for Splash Mountain because it has a collection of some of my fav. songs and the music fits perfectly in the ride and queue.

Can we count extinct attractions? Then I'd vote for Horizons.

For current attractions, there's a lot of really lovely music out there. Really. Gigabytes of it, if I look at my MP3 files. But I have special fondness for Pirates.

people....come on...the haunted mansion for sure....it starts out slow and creepy....peaks with the groovy "grim grinning ghosts"
...then slows down to a lulliby...to ease you into death!:lol:

gosh, so many classics, it's hard to choose just one! i chose CoP because it's a tune that i don't mind having stuck in my head! SE was definately a VERY close 2nd...it's hands down the most inspirational music of any WDW attraction! and HM and PotC were close runner-ups!

Tough Question....

I like Splash Mountain because "How Do You Do" gets stuck in my head easier than any other song, but playing the "stuck in your head card" I also would have to say Carousel of Progress 's Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow. Those are what i pick in terms of not minding the "annoyance of redundance"

In terms of peacefulness and serenity....Spaceship Earth, in the planetarium...thats just awesome.

And as for spookiness, Tower of Terror's soundtrack and Sieze the Future from Alien Encounter.

I'd have to say my favorite is CoP, then a close second would be Spaceship Earth.. and i'd say my LEAST favorite is Small World.. that song wears on my nerves.. of course getting stuck in it for 20 min in between all them singing dolls will ruin ya.. i'm scarred for life :lol: :lol:

Definately, RnR...there's nothing like jamming to Aerosmith while riding a roller coaster.

I actually think that none of the choices listed has the best music. My favorite is the music you hear when you walk into the building of Space Mountain. I think there's some classical first, then the music changes to all the space sounds.
To me, that's the best ride music.

I'd have to say that Splash Mountain has the best music and it's just so happy sounding! It definately gets stuck in your head, but not in that annoying Small World sort of way! I think an important part of it is that not just the music has to be good, but the ride that goes along with it does as well. While Small World is a WDW classic and I go on it ONE time during each visit, it is without a doubt lacking. Splash Mountain on the other hand I could ride again and again, the ride and the music that goes with it just works! But just because I chose Splash Mountain does not mean that I don't love just about every ride's music, they all go so well with their rides, that what helps to make Disney what it is, all the attention to detail and the exceptional time they put into making quality rides, attractions, parades, restaurants, etc. It is truly an amazing place!!!!

CoP is my hands down favorite. One of my favorite rides also. I was so mad when they closed it, anybody know if they might open it back up?

I got my gig or so back in the Napster days. I know there are Napster-like sites these days, but I suspect a lot of personal trading is done.

Some of my favorites are HM, Pirates, and CoP (Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow) -- sorry, can't pick just one! Oh wait, I think my favorite is the '30s music you hear as you wind through the garden in the ToT queue -- very creepy for some reason!

Splash Mountain, I love "How do you do" , "Everybodies got a laughing place" and of course "Zip-a-dee-do-da!" They are all awesome songs and make this ride so much fun. COP and RnR are runner-ups.
