We really enjoy Kona Cafe! Everything on the breakfast menu is great. Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace, are also both good too (plus the character interaction is really nice) We are trying several new breakfast places this year, Captain's Grille, Garden Grove and Kouzzina's.

We've done Cape May Cafe for breakfast and it was pretty good. Also have been to Captain's Grille. Cape May Cafe and Captain's Grill have about the same menu but no characters at Captain's Grille.

Boma is absolutely delicious! I love their "french toast" and made-to-order omelets. And then there is the juice/punch they serve...I really wish they sold it in bottles, because I would have bought them out!

Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club has very good non-character buffet; we were pleasantly surprised out first time there. Or you can order off the menu.

Food yes, characters no

I can't argue with that. I have noticed that the Cape May Cafe waitstaff seems to be a very happy bunch, and that, together with the good food, makes up for it.

Based on their locations, I wonder if it's possible that Cape May and Captain's Grille share a kitchen? I think I will try Captain's Grille for breakfast sometime soon.

Off-topic, but I love the emphasis on "EAT" in the thread title "Best Places to EAT Breakfast in Disney??" As opposed to "Best Places to JUST SMELL Breakfast in Disney??" Or "Best Places to PRETEND YOU JUST SAW A COCKROACH in Disney??" :D

Ok, now that you explain it that does make sense! One of my pet peeves is reading about visiting a Disney restaurant for the "experience" - when I go somewhere to eat, I'd like some good food!! :)

US TOO! Crystal Palace was :hurl: as was Chef Mickeys. Now Ohana has excellent food and characters as well as 1900 Park Fare, in that order. For non characters you can't beat Kona Cafe, my mouth is watering just thinking about it! We will never waste our money going to Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's, it's much to expensive for less than mediocre food.
