Best Choice for Std Room at Polynesian

In December, We are planning a stay at the Polynesian. Our family includes my husband, myself and two grown daughters. We are looking for advice for the best choice of Longhouse with a standard view? We would like to be close to both momorails. Looking for any advice on staying here since the remodel. We've visited WDW many times, but this is our first Monorail resort stay. All advice appreciated.

The last time we stayed at the Poly was in 2010 and I'm not sure what has changed at all with the construction. But we stayed at Raratonga twice with standard view, first floor rooms and absolutely loved it. It was quiet and convenient. This is the longhouse directly to the right of the Great Ceremonial House. We took full advantage of Capt. Cooks and other GCH amenities, including the monorail to MK of course. A hair of a walk to the TTC for the Epcot monorail but not a big deal for us at all.
